I have not, that does sound interesting.  I'm also a whiskey man, bourbon and scotch mostly (I'm from Kentucky, and half-Scottish).  But good rum is much cheaper than good scotch, so I usually go with rum.

BTW, they just opened a legal moonshine distillary about 10 miles north of Murray in Hardin.  Im still more of a Knob Creek and Buffalo trace person, though.

I hadn't heard about that one.  I knew of some of the others in Virginia, and I think Eastern Tennessee.  Knob Creek is good.  I also like Woodford Reserve and Maker's Mark.

Must be nice to be able to cure a hangover at work, and be on BSN... :P

I do that too, without the curing part... How exactly does one cure a hangover at work? I can't. :crying:

Sorry about the lighting, tried to correct it a bit.
Might have made it look a little over exposed

Well, I do work a graveyard shift. Thus I can get away with a lot of stuff.
Just eat a bunch of food and down plenty of water, Gatorade, and Red Bull.
Always helps it out, but this one seems persistent. :o

Thanks to this thread stereotypes are now extinct.

I tried once to cure it with coffee, lemon juice and aspirin. It failed so hard I became a human trainwreck for the rest of the day.

So, energy drinks basically. :P I work a graveyard shift as well, except I'm doing a high intensity physical shift. So, energy drinks are the norm, as is water. Food I can't do, not when I'm running around for 9 hours straight. :(

Yes, Johnnie and Deniselle, from the pics I have seen on this thread, I would say the gamer stereotype is just not true for BSN.

You're trying to tempt me into posting my photo so there'll be something that is closer to the gamer stereotype, right?

The best cure is preventative, actually.  Alternate between alcohol and water.  Hangovers are primarily due to dehydration, so if you keep plenty of water in you, you'll be fine in the morning.

Oh I'm aware. It's just an excuse for me to eat junk food. :wizard:

But I've drank 3 liters of water so far. Just got off work. Feeling better ^_^

I usually try to get 2L of water into me before I pass out after I have been drinking, but when I'm too smashed to do that, the mornings become an.... Issue.... for me. I'm the worst person to be around hungover. I'm REALLY irritable. :pinched:

Stereotypes and preconceptions aren't that bad. It's only natural for the mind to make not quite informed guesses (also they can be a source of great fun Posted Image ).

As long as you keep in mind that the person infront of you is an individual and should only be judged for his/her own actions.
