Here's a picture of my puppy when she was 8weeks old. She'll be 1 year old next month, our older dog will be 10 so we're going to make a joint birthday celebration for them.

My dream pet is a husky though. Black and white. :wub:

Awe. So cute. I like cats, but I'm allergic to their fur. :unsure:

Apart from the freaky dachser, german hunting dog thingy we had when I was a kid. Thats just mostly nostalgia because man that thing was feisty. Imagine it as a dachshound of 1 meter length or a labradoor sized dog with dachshound sized legs.

Well, you'd want to avoid Sly, he's got ALOT of fur... And cause it's summer here, he's malting everywhere... :pinched:

I've always wanted a Husky as well, but cause it's so hot here, it's not a very good idea for the poor guy. He'd probably melt and turn to goo. :(

That's how it is here too. It's the middle of Jan and it's only 75 degrees F (23.8 degrees C) here. In the summer it gets as high as 104 to 106 degrees F (40 to 41 C)
But some people do have Huskies down here, they just keep their coat really short and keep them indoors except when they're out just to run free.
I wouldn't have one down here though, but I don't plan on living here forever. =]

these are a bit older but yeah I'm not the type that likes to smile on camera often..and also I happen to be a skilled amateur photographer and video recorder my cat there is a part "maincoon" part "ragdoll" and some other mixes.. he's fairly big and still growing.. me personnally I've already outgrown that shirt and still appernatly getting taller.. I'm age 22 atm, though you may not notice my eye colour is a rarer admixture of blueish grey, my eye lashes are girly and make girls jealous... ugh and last of all I'm a tall lanky austistic weirdo that plays ME3 a tad much :blush:

Yeah, the heat is a killer on the long-haired pets here, myself included. :P

It's currently 8pm, and it feels like it's about 33 deg C This is just a normal day in summer for us, just outside the city it reached 43 last week... I don't even want to think about starting work in 5 hours. The thing is, it's not the heat itself that's the problem, it's the damn humidity. <_< I've seen maybe 10 huskies here in the last 4 years? The people who do have them must have A/C and a pool...

If it's mild you shouldn't worry too much, just don't get a norwegian 'cos they are 90% fur and 10% cat. Get a neutered female, that would make it way better. Also don't brush it's fur too much, it's ok once in a while but if you do it often the cat would end up losing more fur than if you didn't.

I always lived with cats. When I discovered being asthmatic the doctors didn't say if I was allergic to them, but sometimes when I spend a lot of time with them my eyes turn red and itch, so it could be a sign. Anyway don't worry, cats are too funny to not have around! Maybe get one when you get the Husky, double win.

Not smiling on pictures I understand. I kinda hate that as well but as long as you do smile once in a while. Atleast to yourself.
