I've always been a dog person. And I used to *really* dislike cats. A family member had a very mean unfriendly cat, which was my only interaction with one. Plus the "aloof" cat stereotype just really had me disinterested in them as a species.

Then I met my fiance who had 2 cats (really, not a crazy cat lady till 3+ cats). I was allergic to them. I toughed it out to get the girl, and along the way grew to really like the cats too (I would say "love them", but the dogs can hear me typing). They certainly aren't for everyone, but for that matter neither are dogs. It's a "different" type of affection you get from a cat than a dog. I would still say I'm more of a dog person I like training them and understand them a bit better

Now we have 2 of each, there is a M&F of every species in the house, lol.
Here is "my" dog, my favorite of all time (the puppy is my fiance's cuz that dog is ). He'll be 10 next month, 80lb German Shepard/Greyhound mix.

I'm currently "between cats" as have evil cat-hating landlord. Have had to make do with hamsters and pretend they're cats.

The question is, do the hamsters eat the catnip?

They eat socks and ipod headphones when they escape, so that is their food of choice.

Holy commas, Batman! You stalked me? Good lord. I totally forgot to put those vids on private due to them being retarded. I'd show off a GOOD quality picture of Thor for this thread... but, I'm too lazy. And I'm not sure that one actually exists. I might investigate later. You can't say he's hubba hubba, you saw him in almost pure darkness! He's really quite the handsome cat. His tail is my favourite physical trait. It's huge as ****. It clearly acts as his hammer. PS: Going to get another cat someday, and he'll be named Batman.

Just for the sake of the current discussion of the thread, I am definitely a cat person. I am not fond of dogs.

I just genuinely dislike them, what can I say?! That's a normal thing to do when you prefer one kind of animal to another right? Right?

Is that a calico? Looks like a longer haired version of ours (yes I live in a zoo...)

She's just a long-haired calico (brown/black/white). We adopted her from a local shelter and I swear she came from a drug home/mother because she has the worst (but incredibly endearing) head twitches whenever someone approaches her. And even though she's grown, she can hardly meow.

haha, I think that's a trait of all Calicos. I'm not 100% sure but I believe all Calicos are female and they are all a little twitchy/skittish. Has something to do with the genetics line up a certain way which gives them the coloring and behavior

No way, rabbits are cute. And harmless. Dogs are disgusting and **** everywhere and are destructive and deserve nothing more than to beaten to death in the most horrible way obv

Cats, on the other hand, are the most perfect animal in the world and I want 50 of them so I can make a bed out of them and sleep in it. Lovin all the cat pictures here, they are all so adorable and precious. <3

Btw, we need to play together one of these days. I'm alway in party though, I will make time for you promise!

I don't think so. I have another calico, albeit a bit paler and she's nowhere near as wigged out as Shepard gets. I mean, sometimes I think that poor cat is going to break her neck doing what she does! And I've had quite a few cats over my lifetime and I've never seen one act like she does. and this is from 2008 when i wear suit to work at my game company etc etc

and they don't smell, they clean themselves, make no noise, and are never a threat. True store though I was attacked by a cat when i was like 3 years old for no reason lol. I had cats and dogs as a kid. I used to have pitbulls and rotwielers as well growing up. One day my brothers pitbull attacked him in the middle of the night while he was sleeping. he had to fight the dog off and throw her outside and called animal control. he had to go to the hospitol as well. I love animals but cats and dogs in genreal haven't worke dout well for me. Rabbits do

and yeah we'll have to get some games in for sure. the ME3 audience is growing thin though. I barely even play it anymore and when i do i barely even try lol. What other games do you got?

I also need to get some in with twinkles. Maybe in a few weeks we can cause i'm off of work the week of feb 5th

lol aww in general, i'm animal lover, i happened to take care of my dogs very well.. and they also lived well past their original time/year and lived very far as they can. so it was great.. (2000-2012) RIP Buddy and Baby.

Yup, because one cat is clearly how all cats act. I guess if you come across one psycho girl, you should just go gay, because the rest of the female population is just as crazy, correct?

There's a difference between being a jerk, and being an idiot. I think you're the latter.
