You know what? I always thought I had to work extra hard in order to win a girl because of my looks. I have never thought of myself as cute or attractive or even average, also never been told that by others. Quite the contrary, usually. I always thought I had to rely exclusively on my personality and brains, which I thought of as a good thing (so that girls attracted to me were actually attracted to the person behind the face, not just to the face). This thread is making rethink the whole thing, it's probably just my lack of confidence in my appearance that makes me think like that. I might actually start to appreciate my exterior self, in addition to my other traits (which I know are awesome:P). Also, thanks to DragonRacer. Hers could've been just a compliment made to dismiss the butt-ugly claim in my first post, but I could feel/sense she was honest.

I honestly watched that movie once. It was a good movie and that line was badass but that kind of thing (sex slavery) really upsets me and I couldn't bring myself to watch it again. I bought it, watched it and sold it back to moviestop.

I was being honest. You are an attractive young man who is much too hard on himself. You are always very kind and helpful, as seen by your posts here, so that likely means most the rest of your personality is just as shining. However, not being conceited and full of yourself is a positive, in my opinion. But you could do with being less harsh on yourself. Any girl who couldn't appreciate you for your personality and/or looks doesn't deserve you anyway, friend. In my not so humble opinion.

But my husband is the same way. Always puts down his looks and wonders why I am with him, and I think he's the most handsome guy on earth.

 Well, I have never really cared much for look but for some reason I hate seeing myself on photos, I think I will never get over it

@angeloky: truly beautiful you are.

There was a thread just like this on the AC boards a while back (probably still going too, it's from 2007 or something) and there was a ton a beautiful girls on there. I'm pleased to say, it's no different here.

And what exactly about a giving a girl a compliment makes someone a creep/creepy? A lot of these girls are drop dead gorgeous, I don't see the problem with someone pointing out the obvious. It's not just here, that's pretty much how people are everywhere and it bugs the hell out of me. People are lame as hell.
