So hey, did you guys know that a kangaroo can't hop backwards?

Because their path is littered with the bodies of their victims. Wild Roos are dicks.

I felt this is worth quoting from like 15 pages back because of reasons.

Also everyone knows the Black Knight is best knight. The Black Knight always wins. Your blows are naught but flesh wounds.

Good to see you. Doing well I trust?

Nice hair! ^_^

Kinda reminds me of a younger Keano Reeves, circa "Bill & Ted" (late eighties/early nineties IIRC)

The tuff quarries do sound pretty cool to see.  We are big outdoors people, despite me being an IT guy, I'm still a country boy at heart.  We camp and hike pretty frequently.  My wife is a geologist at a park (http://www.lostrivercave.com) with a tourist cave (her speciality is karst).  Probably the coolest places we've been hiking are Natural Bridge in Kentucky, and Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas.

Cooooooool. I'm a geologist too. :wizard:

You guys got all the sweet non-weathered outcrops.

Oh yeah?  What's your speciality?  The wife focuses on Karst geology and hydrology.

I'm resisting the urge to post a "you don't say" meme.

And I live in Queensland, anyone who has a basement in Queensland is an f-ing moron who is asking for their house to be ruined.

To quote The Simpsons.  "Do you know what Radon is?  No?  Well, goodnight."

You are amiable! Funny enough, I'm hungry myself.
It most certainly is not irrelevant. It is analogous to how you are feeling and that, my friend, is salient.

Hmm, hydrology eh? Has she done any work around Death Valley or Nye County, NV?

Edit: Whoops should've read your post more closely, suppose that's a bit far west. ;) Anyway cool! For a few Spring/Falls I hiked around those areas assisting a USGS geologist with a hydrology bent, was a lot of fun.

None yet. Just a recent graduate with too much gaming time who is still confused on what to focus on. Hydrology's not that popular here... I only know 1 or 2 people who specialized in it.

She did her field study out there in college, but that's it really.  She's also done some Geophysics in Southern California.  Her previous job was focused on geophysics, again in Karst, but really it was just Microgravity and Electro-resistivity.  I helped in the field a few times with the resistivity.

Yeah, it seems to really only be big in Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia in the US.  Basically the Karst systems.  She's actually one of the two top Karst Geologists here now since her mentor has retired.  She got to speak in Athens for the International Conference on Speleology back in '05.  Staying on topic (sort of, since she's not a gamer), here she is at the Parthenon.

And Sirian, I have to say you are the classiest elitist DB I've had the pleasure of playing with. Quite dashing as well. Will you revive me (5 times)?<3:D
