Wanna check my story, here you are.  This picture is from http://aviationheritagepark.com.  Feel free to go to the site.  I've clearly mentioned previously that I'm from Bowling Green, KY (as Johnnie Walker is a huge Vette fan, and they are made here).  The fifth man from the right is Larry Bailey, my friend and co-worker.  He manages the production company that my law firm owns, along with his work in local tourism and the Aviation Park.  Google him.  You won't find any issues proving my claims.  I do however have issues with yours.  Such as your company's supposed ownership of Star Trek Online.

Yes. It is on my top places to visit. Would absolutely adore to go to the National Corvette Museum. I'd die to go on a tour behind the scenes of the making of a Corvette.

That 6.2 Liter supercharged V8 engine.. It is capable from going 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. It also delivers 638 horsepower at 6500 rpm...

I know that the 2014 model is being released this year. Bringing back the Stingray.

Okay I'll stop now..

I think I'd be a bit more kingly if I looked like Cailan. Also, God damn you really do have somewhat long hair. Mind you, that isn't long. Ya'll don't get to say long hair until it's half way down your back.

I can probably get you in free.  To the plant and the Museum.  With Annie being part of the tourist industry in town, we get free tickets all the time.  More than we can give away, a lot of times.

That's why I said kinda/sorta long. Long is me two years ago.

Take that, add another 6 or so inches in length. That's roughly how long I kept my hair for a few years.

@ Johnnie Walker - Thanks. I love that band. Made the sig before the game came out, kept it after seeing how it ended. :P

@superblaze1 - Riveting tale, chap.  You didn't tell everyone about that time Obama called you over for coffee. Did you go? Or were you too busy designing the next cover of Playboy USA featuring your personal harem, to be printed in your newly bought publishing house? My, I do wonder how you manage all these things, what with making RPG games, space sims, strategy games and sports games over at Crossphase "Keeping the imagined... Imaginary" Studios, boss.B)  Now, I understand how exhilarating it must be to live in your fairytale wonderland, since everything you think up comes true. As deeply touched as I am by you sharing your colorful world with us, perhaps it would be for the best if it remained where it belongs, safely tucked away in your mind.  :wizard:

However, you might want to at the least give proper credits where they are due. Like, for instance linking to Tyson V. Rininger's website or maybe acknowledging that the person flying that fighter is in fact ATG chief test pilot Robert “Fusch” Fuschino and not Commander Brandon Shepard, despite the convenient picture title. Or maybe say that Viper photo was taken at the set by some random person and not in your backyard.
Finally, how about admitting that there's nothing inherently creative about applying a filter or slapping some text onto other people's artwork. Hmm?

Oh, if only actual talent and competence were achievable with the power of

Did you have any issues restoring the instruments and controls?  That's been part of my friend's issues with the older jets.  The F111, they were lucky with (since the jets are just out for display).  The cockpit looks completely intact.  When they decomissioned it, they took a hammer to the back of the instrument panel instead of removing everything.

the Navy did't want to wreck this "213" by accident  because it was owned by me before the last day of wrecker order was carried out.
so in that case the Tomcat thanks me for saving its life. when i arrived here, it was not trashed or wrecked.

they turned over the keys to me so i could fly on my own. after 4 hours of night flight i ran into the bad storm (as mentioned above) i had to call in the nearby carrier. for this part, they never seen someone land it so flawless. i spent whole night tweaking the controls and improved it by 120% margin, i also took look at instruments, noticed it was working okay.
decided to speak to the chief mechanic to see if they got some updated instruments that i could switch out for flying.

i also spent next 5 hours into the dawn morning finishing the improvements and updates made to F-14A.
i did't need to stay here too long on a carrier they got job to do. so i decided that morning i would leave.

i had no problems with updated instruments and improved controls since then.
they were pretty suprised i had experience with F-14As that's because i used to work on 4 of them  when they were used for air shows back then before they were phased out of air shows. so i even don't remember when it ended. but still would like to bring it back someday. Image IPB

So the Navy sold you a completely intact F-14 that had been decommisioned?  You know what.  Let's see a picture of you with this jet.  Toss in one of you with your Viper too, while you are at it.

Also, I'd really LOVE to hear the story of how a 23 yr. old got that jet unharmed from the Navy.  If my friend and his colegues couldn't get decommised aircraft that were flyable, I sure as hell don't see how you can either.

Alright, you know what, SuperBlaze1, I'm going to completely call you out.  I think 90-100% of what you have given us is complete BS, and I find that personally insulting.  First off, there are a lot of good people in this thread who have shown bravery and opened portions of their lives up to all of us to see.  There's a lot to be respected about that.  You, however, have come in and posted a buch of crap using stock photos you've found online and moved to a photbucket account, apparently in an attempt to impress us all.

You know what impresses me?  Honest and integrity.  My grandfather was a sharecropper.  I can't think of a worst job.  He had next to nothing to his name for most of his life, but he was a good man who worked hard and did everything he could for his family.  What little he had, he'd give to you if you needed it worse.  That's integrity.  THAT is impressive.

My father dropped out of school in 8th grade to work the farm with my grandfather so that his two sisters could stay in school.  Dad's grades were always good, and he's certainly a smart man.  He could have made it through college himself, but he gave it up and put in a life of backbreaking labor from dawn until dusk every day for his family.  The results were that my aunt was the first member of the family to go to college.   She became a math teacher.  Her younger sister, the second to be educated, became a nurse.  My sister and I both went to college.  She's a teacher, and I'm an IT manager.  What dad did, THAT is impressive.

It doesn't take money, contact with famous people, or your own fighter jet to impress people and get their respect.  Why don't you start over, and we'll all forget about what you've posted so far.

I believe that this "crossphase studios" website is his.  That's about it.  Other than that, I was trying to give him an out.  Instead, he just kept burying himself further.

I was really wanting him to just come out and say "OK, you got me.  Here's the truth..."  I'd like to think that he's not a bad guy, and just looking to make some friends.  Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic this morning.  I guess I'll just go shoot some reapers/cerbs/collectors and give someone a body to revive every now and then.

here was bad storm that night i had to contact a navy carrier that were in the area and had asked to land and wait for calmer wheather. i knew they had experience with F-14A so it was strange for them to see it on their deck again, it kinda brought back their memories with the Tomcat. by the morning it was nice sight so i took this photo.

That is just so cool. I was real lucky with my SR-71 myself. I had a few guys I know from, the KGB smuggle it out of a secret air force base in Alaska. It came with a Blaupunkt. But to be honest, being european I prefer the Eurofighter. I have the second one due to be shipped in May. I don't like the colour of the old one so that's going on ebay.

Yeah, I've been real busy since I got out of the space program and my last flight to Venus. I needed something lighter to do, you know? Just something casual. So I called a guy I know at the LHC and got myself a positiion as the lead physicist while in my free time I made a few modernist scupltures. Sotheby's made a lot of money with those.

Something that really pissed me off tho was that Jimmy C. took an idea I had about this planet with blue aliens and never paid me a cent after the movie was out.

I have to go now cause I have a recording session with Mr.Sumner starting in an hour and I still have to get a coffeee with that pig Clooney at Cafe Como.

Most moving, Anubis.

Integrity is most important.
And very influential stories. Reminds me of my own.
Grew up very poor. I remember having to live of peanut butter and taco shells for three months straight once. Joined the military at age 16 to start helping support my family. Graduated high school at age 18. Switched to Army active duty until I was injured right when I turned 20, I was discharged.

Never had nothing handed to me. I bought a shell of a 1979 Camaro. I gutted it and took apart the engine. Cleaned it up real nice. It's now a 5.2 liter 350 small block V8.

Now I'm currently going to college for a double major of mechanical engineering and automotives.
I want to design cars. And I am fully determined to do everything in my power to achieve this goal.

But I did feel that something was off. Did seem kinda odd for someone that's so young to have a freaking jet. I just paid it no mind.

I saw it the other day (not in person) and damn she looks good. I've never been a big vette fan myself (always thought they were kind of ugly) but the new stingray is just beautiful.

I've heard a lot of complaints though as well. People likening it to the P. Aztec. Rubbish I say.
