The self defence thing might hold some sway if you weren't quite so gung ho about it later on.

It's a part of American culture that has always sickened me. You guys are gun crazy. You love your guns. No wonder there's a massacre every other day over there. For all the time you guys go bible thumping about JC, you sure don't act a lot like he did. Quite the opposite in fact.

I have no problem with people defending themselves if it comes down to it, but the way you talk about it just comes across as gung ho and entirely attention-seeking.

Stop whinin' like a b*tch. If you have nothing constructive to say then leave the people to chat in peace. Just because your life is miserable doesn't mean you get to judge other people's lives.

Right. Yeah I'm a terrible person for thinking that guns and violence are bad things. -_-

Other things that make me a terrible person (according to BSN):

-Thinking that skin cancer is dangerous and should be avoided
-Thinking that kids should not join the army at 16, when they aren't allowed to vote, drink or have sex
-Thinking that people should not throw the words "gay" and "hermaphrodite" and other similar slang around in public in derogatory ways

So I tell one story about a time where I put my pistol to a guy that's 6'0" and 180lbs while I'm 5'8" 125lbs and I'm automatically deemed a gung ho and attentions seeking? Nice of you to know me, what I've been through, and my thoughts.

Either you're a really sour person or you just have something really harsh against me. I'm not sure where you pulled "attention seeking" out your ass. That has nothing to do with me defending myself. I was telling a mere story, don't read too much into it. If I said that my xbox got smashed then somebody would have asked thus I went ahead and said it.

I own a few guns, so what? Grow up in a neighborhood that's full of drug deals and drive bys. Then lets not see if you'd know martial arts and have weapons. But wait, don't answer that because you can't possibly come to that conclusion unless you've experienced it.

Yes, so much awesome.

My personal current gurrlcrush. JL > N. Portman. NP weirded me out in the SW prequels, and her body proportions are stubby. JL has it all! <3

WTH?

JL's face is asymmetrical and she has weird features.

0/10 would not bang.

JL is fresh, unique and well proportioned all around. I never noticed any asymmetry in her face, but if there is, it's probably why I like her :)

11/10 - would bang

NP is generically pretty, and her arms and legs are too short. Not my type :D

As a rule, I don't look at actors or actresses in such a way. I'm all about personality, and I find it very hard to trust someone who makes a living acting like someone they're not.

It comes across as attention seeking because of how you describe it. You don't describe things in such fashion unless you're fishing for approval/admiration, or writing an action novel. Pretty sure you weren't doing the second. That just leaves the first.

I have nothing against you, I do not hold grudges against people for things they say on the internet. Nor do I care that you own guns.

Everytime someone goes to go on a killing spree and runs into an off-duty cop or someone carrying a gun, it usually ends fast.  These kinds of stories dont make the headlines like the tragedy at Connecticut.  You know what would have happened if the principal or the teacher had a gun? It would have been ended much faster, and more children would have been saved.  There was a story in Colorado  not too long after the Aurora shooting where someone did the same thing.  Went into a theater intending to kill people, but there was an off-duty officer there who stopped it.

You can make a lethal weapon out of almost anything.  Someone who is intent on killing is going to find a way to do it, guns or no guns.  People who think taking guns away will solve anything are clueless.  You are dealing with the symtoms and not the problem itself.

I live in a state FULL of people who hunt, shop for guns, discuss guns, and what have you.  People at my high school would drive to school with guns in their pick-ups and just leave them there.  You know how many shootings we had? Zero.  Zip.  Nada.

What does the Bible and JC have to do with the fact that someone likes guns? As a Christian it's not a sin to like guns or use them.  You're taking things waaaaaay out of context.

Hey 'muricans, I'm from the UK.

We have 1/6th of the population you guys have, yet we have 1/90th of the gun murders.

Per hundred thousand, the rate at which we murder each other is also much lower.... so the idea that "you don't need a gun to kill someone" is bullsh*t, because a lot fewer people die in my country to stupid senselessness and there are plenty of knives and rocks which we could be killing each other with....

You think your guns are making you safe? Yeah, just like jumping off a skyscraper makes you safe.

Your judgement is wrong. I was having a conversation with another. You know my friends have always asked me why am I so secretive. Well this is why, if I say anything then someone has to totally change the subject and comment on something that was so diminutive. People saying that I was attention seeking way back earlier has clouded your mind into thinking that everything I say is looking for attention.

And if you don't care that I own guns when why bring it up in the first place? You starting debates here and there is coming off like you're the one chasing attention.

Alright, alright. Everyone just calm down, take a breath, and get some pie. Or cake if you so prefer.
