Fair enough.  More precisely, it's the screen I project onto.  102"  When I decided to get a new TV and was looking at HDTVs, I learned I could buy a high def (1080p) projector, a screen for it, and a new surround sound for less than a 50" HDTV would cost me at the time.   I've been using it for all my media needs (bluray, TV, gaming) for 6 years now, and couldn't imagine going back to a smaller TV.

I'm guessing you aren't concerned about the burn-in factor on it.  Still, I like backlit displays, myself.  Never was a big fan of front projection, mostly from issues with dealing with them on the job, I think.

And Snipey McGee.  That name is awesome.

Never had any issues with burn-in or front projection in the six years I've been using a projector.  Had to have the projector replaced due to a color wheel issue, but it was covered with warranty. 

And yes, Snipey McGee there only goes armed with his Javelin X.  He refuses to use shotguns and ARs.
