For those with dogs/cats as pets, DNA testing has shown that dogs have the exact same DNA as wolves(they evolved recently from wolves) which is why they can still interbreed with them

--and that they live longer & have better health, better fur, etc when fed a diet that's mostly meat or dog-food made from meat.

Also, most brands like Science Diet, Beneful, Pedigree, etc have cancer-causing chemicals that are banned in human foods but still allowed in pet
&
are made from corn(which just fattens them up) & most dogs/cats can't digest corn well because they lack much of the enzyme amalyse needed to digest it which humans have alot of.

After I adopted my pomeranian puppies below from the animal rescue, I switched them from Science Diet to Instinct, Fromm, EVO, Taste of the Wild, & their fur got softer & glossier, they no longer had gas, & they stopped being overweight

I had one. Was little problematic, but no wonder, he went through a lot. When I got him he was near death, only  bones and bugs and other scary things, not even 2 months old. But then he was the most epic, amazing great wolfdog ever.
Btw - I thought it was a common knowledge that dogs come from wolves. I mean, it's canidae family and dogs are canines (like other species) and wolves are canis lupus, but their ancestors vanished ages ago. Interbreeding is actually how wolves have dark fur, they have domestic dogs DNA. I mean those black wolves.
And there are wolfdogs as hybrid and there are 2-3  pedigrees, like czechoslovakian wolfdog or another from holland. They are mostly german shepherd with eurasian wolf.
