 This thread broke my freaking heart. I went to facebook, for the first time in a while, to find a pic and realized in the last 2 years all I've got is pictures from my drinking excursions.

I had a really hard time finding a non-drunk picture of myself too.....  Why do people only want to take pictures of other people when they're drunk?

I also want to say, back on, like page 10, I jokingly said 80% of this place probably looked like the South Park guy.  I was...wrong.  There's some good looking people in here.  I'm kind of....shocked, to be honest.  Although, some of you have really unattractive voices.

Copy the code from photobucket (the one says [img] link [img/] ) and then go into the adavanced post (not quick post) hit the BBCode, and then paste.  You should be able to see your photo before posting.  Just FYI for those who are having trouble getting their pictures to show.

Guys - i'm going to tell you your problem right now.   it's your state of mind.   we're so damn lucky as men because women's taste in men varies so much....
i honestly think - and i don't give a damn what you look like - that you are probably either (A) not putting yourself out there... or ( holding back and not showing interest so you give them the impression you're just being a friend.  if you try and move on that point then it's just startling.... but i get it - you don't want to come on too strong and make it come off awkward.
I dunno - i think i've just had good luck falling into relationships just where i meet someone and we hit it off.... but i can be kind of a passionate intense person, so i guess it kind of drives me....  but i'm not good at initiating things.   i'm 29, married with 2 kids -- i've had like... 4 girlfriends not counting my wife (because we were only dating 2 months before we got married.... 6 years ago almost)... and had brief... things.... with a half dozen or so other girls.... but i'm just absolutely terrible at seeing a girl, chatting her up, getting her number, asking her out, etc.  the few times i've tried it it's just gone terribly.
it's always been that i'll just meet someone through friends and we'll start talking, and hit it off -- maybe another time or two after that, then it just kinda happens.  (though one time ... at "Denny's" ... but that's another story for another time)
i think you guys might be holding back on those opportunities because you're afraid of making things awkward.... or you're just not getting out there and meeting people.
anyway - i wish you the best of luck and happiness.  don't stress, you'll meet someone someday - probably soon.
i wish i knew everything i know now back when i was younger and single - had the self confidence / lack of self consciousness i have now....it's just a matter of letting go of fear.

lol. this guy knows me! a couple of the things he said are weirdly accurate. i know the entire reason i've only had 1 "relationship" thus far, im absolutely terrible at talking to women, of course im not much of a socializer with new people in the first place.  i can remember after my first few months at college, i was able to count the number of girls that i had talked to on 1 hand, and at least 2 of those girls were girlfriends of my friends.  and as far as my "relationship" thingy, if i told you some of the details from it you would probly be laughing at me, as whenever i think about it i end up laughing at how bad it was

Well, since it's evident pet pics are a go, here's mine. I usually don't like dogs like this, I'm more of a Shiba Inu kind of guy (very active dog I could bring along when running, etc etc.), but when my father and I wanted to surprise my mother with this furball, said furball decided I had to be his older brother and began following me everywhere and obeying only me (well, mostly). I couldn't resist those puppy eyes.

aww that's dcute....  you know the breed?  i never grew up a dog person, but my little girl loved doggies, and my wife's cousin found a stray.... she's this adorabe, sweet, loving little rat dog.... and looking at her face alone she looks a lot like that dog - though she also looks a lot like a chihuahua (not that much like one, but she has the bat ears) and a lot like a terrier.... 
here she is  (she's wearing the backpack my daughter got for her birthday)

i'd put one of the cats up, but getting all 4 in a single frame is... well impossible.




oh and just for the record - here's another one of me -- with my wife at my friend's enormous chinese/jewish lawyer wedding (her whole family looked so lost at the big jewish ceremony, it was adorable) like.. 4 rooms at the LAX hilton, it was crazy....

i just realized i don't have any really recent ones of me and the boy.   I'll try and take one this weekend of me and both of the kids and bump this thread right back up.  i'm loving it.   we're actually pretty decent people towards each other when we're not being all uptight about our beloved mass effect
