missile destroyer. When the multi-grenade starting out does more damage
per grenade than the missile what is the point. There are no draw backs comparatively. This is not someone just complaining , what I think should be done is
as follows;
1.) Drastically reduce the shield penalty make it no more than 25%
2.) Make damage for the missiles the same as grenades starting out.
3.) No reduced damage for the hydra missile
4.) Fix the tracking for the missile after it is fired
I keep seeing the missile hit the wall and not
the enemy

The whole concept isn't very good. What would have been a lot cooler would have been a point defense laser that shot down incoming missiles or grenades. Even if that wouldn't be totally useful the whole game.

Use incinerate ammo, a rapid fire gun, and you can then blast them off their feet everytime.

Still is fun to use to help make up for the lack of a decent kit if you are really lacking like I am in the weapons department.

Multi- frag is more useful since each nade deals a LOT of damage, makingt it an excellent choice both for taking down bigger groups of standard enemies AND to take down the large ones (don't try it as a makeshift shotgun against phantoms, even if it deals a LOT of damage, on gold the phantom will most likeley take you down
Since both powers don't work on a cooldown, feel free to put in the biggest guns
Your standard melee is actually a strike with an omniblade (a variant of it) and your heavy melee... is basically you stomping on the ground (very powerful and looks very badass)
The only bad thing about devastator mode is that you have 2 choose between insane tank and insane dps (if you don't echance your shields with the last evolution, a batarian sentinel/soldier could take more damage)- using the shield booster gear amp helps to counter that
The devastator mode makes you significantly slower (not being able to dodge is less of a problem), so outrunning your enemy without you getting killed is more difficult on gold

Bah, I never tried out the missile launcher, always went for the max damage loadout (with the multi- frag nades).

I've had some decent luck against Phantoms while using Multi-Frag. I tend to use it more as a carpet bomb against them instead of a shotgun so I can cover the distance from my feet to where I saw them last. Besides being a boss killer, its ridic once you can put out 5 nades per shot. I've used it on some maps to do some ranged carpet bombing to wipe out large groups of mooks.
Of course that might only work because I stick to Bronze, but I can see those tactics at least working a little bit on Silver.

Dont worry it still works on Gold. If Im understanding you correctly. Multi Frag and Cluster grenade are the best grenades in the game bcause of their increase effectiveness against groups and their massive damage can rip up the larger bosses should you get all the grenades to hit.
