Veetor would take over at first but he wouldn't be a temp squadmate like Kal'Reegar would be.squee365 wrote...

False. Kal Reegar is better than ME2 squadmates, despite the popular rumor going around that he isn't.blacqout wrote...

No we don't. Kal Reeger is nowhere near an interesting enough character to warrant any sort of DLC.
And you really think that he should be worth 75 EMS? Idiocy.
Why you always act like an ***hole? (in all threads where I see you)
Just say: "I do not like Kal" and everyone will understand.
but no! you say: "You all say "crap". mass effect 3 is perfect"
Slowly friend, everything can talk peacefully:innocent:
Rating Kal Reegar, a man who spectacularly gets himself killed unless Shepards sits him the corner, as a 75 EMS asset, when Grunt, who is fully capable of 'holding the line' in the Collector base himself, is only valued at 20 (maybe 25, i can't remember) is idiocy.
The DLC isn't even about Kal, its mainly about Palaven but if you kept him alive in ME2 you would get the option to save him or let him die. And the real idiocy is Bioware making Grunt worth 20 or 25 EMS
It's enough about Kal Reegar that you put his name in its title.
And valuing him at 75 EMS is still stupid. That's 3x as much as any of the ME2 squadmates... all of which demonstrate considerably more talent than Kal Reegar.
Back to the drawing board for you.
I hope I've settled this problem and we can all move on from here.

Of course, everyone else would have gotten it wrong, even (to everyone's amazement) Kal Reegar.Cthulhu42 wrote...

I guess they could just replace him with Veetor if you let him die.

plus Kal'Reegar might be more armored up since he's fighting in a war, and he might use the two new Quarian weapons too since he'll be a Temp Squadmate

You seem to have some trouble differenciating between what you like more, and what is actually, demonstrably better.
Grunt demonstrates a significantly higher level of capability than Kal Reegar, simply by virtue of being able to survive the hold the line segment on his own... even if he isn't loyal.
But lets not let that get in the way. You bolded the line "and valuing him at 75 EMS is still stupid", meaning you disagree? So you're actually saying that this one Quarian, who usually gets killed in ME2 unless Shepard sits him down, is just as valuable as the entire fifth fleet?
You're an idiot. I've settled this; no hope required.

Guttersnipes?
Do you know what a 'guttersnipe' is? It's an ill-bred person. Someone that might resort using swear words in civil conversation.
I very much doubt that anyone using that word since the advent of the 20th century has been seen in any way as a badass. Educated and well-spoken, probably, but it doesn't exactly radiate toughness.

I love this idea but I think it is problematic for the people who let him die on Tali's mission on ME2 or didn't even recruit her. There are people like that out there, believe it or not.
I guess they could just replace him with Veetor if you let him die.
or a Random Quarian soldier will take his place with Veetor in the background regardless

You can complete ME2 without recruiting Tali? I mean, i know her loyalty mission was a side quest, but her actual recruitment mission was a MO.

No it wasn't. If you have Zaeed or Kasumi it is possible to skip Tali entirely.
