More Kal Reegar...

Kal Reegar on Haestrom

Kal Reegar at the Trial

Veetor and Kal Help Rally the Crowd

He is a very likable character...
Especially when he tells the Admiralty board off...

we have enough suit rats in the game already

Pray that you are not found by the Talimancers.

Moving on, I would love to see this in the SP although everything I know tells me that actualy seeing this content in game has less than 1% chance.

I thought his death was pointless and dumb for 3 like most of the death from the 2012 movie it was just not necessary or doing anything to advance the plot. Them killing reegor like that was especially terrible because you saved him in 2 just so he can die on some Turian colony in 3....then again BW seemed like they wanted to imitate Lost in the death count region Samara, Miranda, Talitha, every npc you ever helped in 1 -2, Thane, Tali, really it's easier to ask who doesn't die in this game then who does.

Not to mention I found Tali's non reaction to his death troubling as well. As captain we should've been able to tell her the bad news ourselves and comfort her in at least 3 different ways one as her captain and therefore professional, her friend give her a hug, or her lover with this one maybe we'd move this conversation up to his cabin where you can just hold her on the couch as she's crying. After all Reegor did mean something to her back in 2 or else she wouldn't have asked you to save him.

You also should've been able to steer her to want to pursue a relationship with either Garrus or Reegor if you were friend Shep.

As awesome as he was, he was never gonna be part of the Normandy posse. There's no way they'd have 2 crew members who would have that much at stake on the same side of the Quarian issue.

Death by email is fine for people like that guy from Jack's loyalty mission, but Kal'Reegar deserved better. At the very least Tali should be able to see him die or save him.

Kal Reegar would've been a far better Squadmate than Mr.Vega. I'd buy a Reegar DLC.

Right now there's someone at Bioware thinking, "We already named a MP weapon after him, what more could they want?"

You don't get Adam Baldwin to do your VO and then kill him off screen, people won't stand for that.

Why not? It worked for Emily Wong.

people prefered Emily Wong over Diana Allers, and I heard she had the Twitter death around the beginning of the game so we can't save her, plus her shuttle crashed into a Reaper

Whoa. Didn't realize Kal'Reegar was such a beloved character. Yeah you fight with him once and (maybe) talk to him again later.

Then they send you a mail saying he died.

So someone made a rifle with his name.

As much as I'd love him to be part of our posse, that doesn't have to be the case, I'd pay for him to be involved in the Rannoch Story Arc and maybe some smaller DLCs afterwards.

Kal'Reegar was an amazing character, one my favourite in ME2. I'm going to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe Adam Baldwin simply wasn't available, but, they should rectify this.

There's also a number of other NPCs that were awesome that we never see in ME3. Shiala and Parseeni (I know that isn't spelt right) to name two.

Does his VA want to come back? If the answer is no, leave him dead in a ditch on Paliven.

Considering how enthusiastic Adam was about his role in ME2, I'd be surprised and disappointed if he didn't want to reprise the role in ME3. He's said nothing on the matter though.

It's possible money was the issue though, EA wasn't exactly generous with the resources given to Bioware imo.

Eh....

I'd rather that be a last resort. Adam Baldwin MADE Kal'Reegar. I'd rather not take him away from that unless we had to.

That was the only reason to like Reegar.  He presented a compitant and likeable character that you didn't know what looked like, based off a guy from Firefly.

Twitter has consistently been used by the devs to explain plot holes, retcon inconsistencies, and to further add to ME content.

Here's an example.  On release day of ME3, Mac Walters said there would be no post game DLC since the galaxy is a wasteland.  Made sense (not good though) since the mass relays had exploded and there are 2 places in ME where this is said to not be good for the galaxy, The Arrival, and a codex, Desperate Measures.  People even argued that it was horrible to do that at the end and that meant everyone would die horrible slow deaths by starving and so on.  Depressing.  They used twitter and said that wasn't what it meant at all-the relay explosions were not very big at all, so it was ok.

People wanted to know about Emily Wong, complained about Allers (IGN's Jessica Chobot) and they went on twitter and said Emily died-someone else can fill in the details because I only heard about this recently.

Kal died in an email to Shepard -  Shepard was told he was dead.  I choose not to believe this.

On twitter one BW employe also said there'd be a reunion between Shepard and friends-the implication being (in a response to someone who asked if Shepard would be reunited with friends and LI) this would occur in the game.  Anyone knows when someone asks if there's a reunion, they mean in the game.  People couldn't see one or find one and then on twitter it was said that there was clearly a reunion, Shepard was alive, and it was implied.

They've also explained on twitter there is no reunion because they couldn't do all the "personalized" ones people would want and one dev even said they didn't do one because they didn't know people wanted one.  Now, on twitter they saying the torso Shepard scene could mean Shepard lives or dies.  And one dev said s/he's dead.

The next game will fully play out on twitter.
