Considering how enthusiastic Adam was about his role in ME2, I'd be surprised and disappointed if he didn't want to reprise the role in ME3. He's said nothing on the matter though.

It's possible money was the issue though, EA wasn't exactly generous with the resources given to Bioware imo.

Just asking, because I don't know and really wonder how you know, what resources did EA give to Bioware for this?

Does his VA want to come back? If the answer is no, leave him dead in a ditch on Paliven.

According to someone who talked with Adam Baldwin at a convention, he enjoyed voicing the character and was interested in returning, but they never contacted him.

They had Adam Baldwin willing to do a role and they didn't even talk to him! Come on.

To paraphrase Dr. McCoy, "es está muerto, Jim".

But for real fun and games, Evacuate the Citadel DLC.

Fixed.

Reegar's death by email is almost as sad as Emily Wong's death by twitter.

EA gave a lot of resources to Bioware for TOR, not for Mass Effect.

Where is the citation for saying EA didn't give resources to Bioware for ME?

They added some possibly expensive VA to ME3 and had a lot of known actors voicing parts--where's it said they were not given the money to make it?  You know what was said by one dev, EA only ever looked to them to make it profitable.

No way that is going to happen, He is a side character would could have potentionally died in a previous installment and most important, he is probably dead by default.

there were alot of side characters who could potentionally died but they got to be in the game, Kal proved to be on of the most usefully and likeable

Nowhere. What I meant is EA was generous to Bioware but those resources went mostly to TOR, not ME3. If I remember correctly, TOR cost more than $300 millions while ME3 cost less than $100 millions.
Anyway, EA want (well, demand) a game every two years, that's where ME3 failed: it needed at least one more year of development.

Then we get the Reegar Carbine. He was awesome, I would like to see him again, especially as a squadmate. I would also love to see Palaven.
Signed.

Right now there's someone at Bioware thinking, "We already named a MP weapon after him, what more could they want?"

You don't get Adam Baldwin to do your VO and then kill him off screen, people won't stand for that.

Especially since he had no idea that his character was killed off...

GDI, Bioware.

I think the reason why they killed Reegar by E-mail was that they couldn't get Adam Baldwin to ME3....

I liked that he died off screen, cut scenes couldn't do him justice.

I read the OP, I just think he died for a good cause to hold off, so I guess I just should have said no
