The paladin is awesome if used correctly. Snap freeze and a whack of the cryo shield will stack to debuff armor with ease. Pair up with a vorcha and his flamer while using snap freeze and laugh as banshees,primes and atlas' hopelessly die in seconds. Being able to quickly block incoming threats is an added bonus.

I think the only time I've ever seen someone kicked on Xbox was because they weren't playing when it ended and did not seem to come back in the lobby when everyone else was ready to start again.

It seems like console users who post on forums are the minority of players anyway, unlike PC where you're right there on your computer able to go on forums, they are entirely separate things for us and most people don't bother to search out a place to talk about it apart from chatting with people they play with. The people who find forums for console games are usually the people who want to vent or complain, or the really big fans, the in-between average users really don't. So seeing individual threads on the bioware forums as equating every XBL lobby being a massive persecution of anyone not fit to stay in your game seems a bit biased

No, you're doing it wrong. The shield is basically crap. Don't put any more points into fitness the last health/shield boost. Put them into Incinerate. Even though Incinerate is not great, it's better than the shield.

Lulz just carried the previous game with MQE. 120k and next closest was 70ish. Switch to paladin and I have been kicked from the game.

lets face it, the shadow can be kicked but if you are playing fbw with platnium you have to be a total noob not to win no matter what classes you bring to the table

my paladin is spec to restore my shields and insta freze, the shield is useless on the gold/plat levels

Just stand and deliver (behind freindlies)
and if you take a hit just steal sheilds from the nearest geth
you'll live for ever

I love that rare lobby I am hosting where a smug player comes in, acting like he is going to absolutely dominate the score board and talking how the N7 Paladin is garbage. Three-six rounds in when I am above his score by so much he cannot catch up without resorting to glitching and he leaves, puts a smile on my face.

also XBOX is terrible because of the fact the playerbase also is heavy on several of the most horrible playerbasees in multiplayer existance.

Halo, COD, Battlefield, Gears of War. these games have a breed of stupidity on the XBOX all their own. PS3 doesnt get halo or GOW and PC is so widespread that you are unlikley to ever meet anyone other than similar intrests. but on XBOX you will run into the same groups over and over again, just because of how often XBL is used just for the multiplayer in those games alone.
 
i call it... the XBL shooter stupid crowd, and ME3MP is just close enough to a shooter to have attracted them...

Well, I'm not really in that genre.. Sure, I play Halo a lot, but I at least don't wave my huge e-peen about it. But good description of the majority of people I manage to run into! :happy:

How good something is IS quantifiable. Not everything is a matter of opinion.

Weird how someone with this attitude puts points into incinerate.

The Paladin is beastly when you use it right, especially on that map since it's tightly confined when indoors, which is where the class shines. That's really easy, Fire shield. You already have a fantastic ice effect via snap freeze, the fire does lasting damage, and the fire is also stronger against armor.

my n7 is 2068, and i have to the paladin is a brilliant character, once you figure out how to use him properly. he is a tech explosion god. dont bother with him sheild as with melee characters in this game they are waste of medi-gels

I've only had 2 or 3 bad experiences in the MP for Gears, 1-3. Much less than Halo and Mass Effect.

I was a Gearhead for five years and I can say with the utmost confidence the only shooter community more petty, confrontational, overly emotional and annoying than GoW's is CoD. Endless entertainment... until the third game came out. Now I rather pay the local hobo's way through college than support Epic in any future GoW related endeavor.

Anyway... back to the OP.

lol true epic ruined gears and refused to fix it. the community outside of horde mode is horrible. one of the worst.
