Is it just me, or is thedas not enough? I want to know about the other continents (I assume there are some) in the world. I always thought of the DA setting to be on earth, just in a lost age of old.... dragons and magic are just extinct now.

And yet there are so many places on Thedas that we haven't explored yet. I'd like to see some of these places before being whisked away to some other remote place.

While some scholars acknowledge that the world is much bigger then what is known, Thedas is pretty much the world at this point.
There are other continents -- as no one knows where the Kossith originally came from -- but for now we need to stick to what we have before we go to what we don't.
I wouldn't mind however exploring uncharted islands in the grand scheme of DA3, so long as it isn't the main premise. Like since DA3 is more then likely taking place in Orlais, I wouldn't mind having the option to travel to an uncharted island on some sort of quest or even a quest arc.
