So what's your opinion on it? There are several great ones to be sure. But I gotta say, whoever does the VO's for Isolde (Arl Eamon's wife, Redcliffe), really won the jackpot on this one. Other than the understandable issue of sometimes the emotional charge not matching between the lines (as you can pick multiple paths to go and some of them are connected to a previous part of conversation), she's frigging amazing. Few VO's put themselves on the line like that.

Lol, I love how she says Teagan, but I'm really laughing at how bad it is not that she is talented. o.O
Of course, being totally in love with Alistair, I'm going to have to vote for Steve Valentine. The way he says his lines is just perfect for me. Even throw away lines, like when you click on him after the joining while he is walking away. Perfect mix of comedy and emotion in his voice.

I like Shianni's voice quite a lot. Her last lines in the Arl's house hit hard.
Shale. Because everything about Shale is great.
Hespith. Low key and intense.

Well yes I'd have to hear more of her voices, but the character of Isolde really does come off as an almost hysterical woman in shock of all the horror that's happened. Especially when you end up killing / having her kill Connor.

Father Kolgrim of the Andraste Cult.
"TO ARMS MY BRETHREN! ANDRASTE SHALL GRANT US VICTORY!"

That guy always reminds me of King Leonidas. Wonder why eh?

What, no one thought of Oghren? Whoever voiced that guy deserves a medal, unless he's a dwarf in real life.

lmao same here, i half expected to hear him say "THIS IS SPARTA" right before he attacks
il have to say Claudia Black(Morrigan) is my favourite, loved her from stargate and her voice enthrals me when listening to her, which seems apropriate for a witch.

I am going to go with Simon Templeman and Summer Cree, as they pretty much well fill up 1/3 of the minor character voices.

AH! AND HERE WE HAVE THE PUPPETEER!
That said, probably Alistair.

Steve Blum as Gorim - the Dwarf Noble origin is incredible, and his is the stand out performance.
An Oghren is fine, too.

Claudia Black (Morrigan), followed by Steve Valentine (Alistair) and Loghain (Simon Templeman).
I usually enjoy hearing Tim Curry, but his role was, IMHO, kinda too short and 'subdued' in DA:O. Hopefully, in a sequel, he'll be back w/ a more upbeat/lively character.

Simon Templeman is by far the best voice actor in the game. Probably the best in the business ever since Tony Jay passed on.

Steve Valentine for Alistair - I click on through the npcs just to hear him say "My love?" and also, when he attacks sometimes that one line "Don't look now, wait better look now!" cracks me up... and that's just the little lines *sigh*
Next is whoever did Hespith and Branka, Hespith freaks me out completely and Branka's voice now inspires me to want to hit things as soon as I hear it.

Steve Valentine -- the emotional subtlety with which he conveys Alistair's pitch perfect lines of dialogue is...is...supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! <3

Branka sounds like she smoked ALL the Dwarf cigarettes.
I think whomever did the little boy's voice in Lothering is the most talented. "Haf yoo seeen moy muvver?" "MUVVER!"

Alistair. He's underrated as an NPC. He's gets better as the game goes along. And the voice actor does a great job reflecting how the character changes.

I swear that kid would make for a decent Infanticide arguement.
As for the best voice actor, i'd probably go with Brian Georg as Greagoir or Barry Dennen, because he's Barry Dennen.

I know its mixed etc, but I love the voice of the Lady of the Forest.
Non-mixed tho, I would say my favourite voice over has to be Flemith.

Steve Valentine (Alistair), Peter Renaday (Duncan, also Splinter), Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway! Err, I mean Flemeth), Claudia Black (Morrigan), Tim Curry (Arl Howe), Jon Curry (Zevran, he makes me laugh), and Susan Boyd Joyce (Wynne).

Agreed. Loghain, Kolgrim, most of the Tranquil, the Tevinter slaver mage -- even Murdoch, I think... awesome.Raltar wrote...

I'm sure you'll have already seen this, but the mention of Tony Jay means I have to post this:
