Failed to authenticate the disk (yes im using the awekening disk)
Now ive gone through google and bioware forums for hours, and dont really seem able to find a viable solution or even a confirmed rootcause.
I had dragon age standard installed, and just installed on top, when it failed the first time i uninstalled, removed all registry entries as per manual uninstall instructions, and deleted my old "my documents"\\dragon age folder
I updated my CDrom firmware, installed as administrator, installed in new folder (root of my D:drive), installed patch 1.05, tried to run in compability mode, start with launcher, start with launcher from the awekening CD, start daoringins.exe as administrator, tried to start the game with CD in my other PCs shared drive, and oh so much more, but nothing, nothing at all works.
So can anyone tell me, what 1 i need to change to a 0, what registry file i have to create/delete, or what other dance i need to perform to get this game to work, and please dont say just use the EA download manager, if i wanted that, i wouldnt have bought the CD version.
