Recently since the new patch has been released (Earth DLC) i have played many games of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer and on 7 different occasions i have been "Disconected from EA Servers" Each time this has cost me alot of XP and  credits.

Its ceritnaly not funny playing a Gold Games and being on either Round 8-11 and then being disconnected. Your Score doesnt count? Why am i being disconnected?

Any Ideas?

I got d/c once yesterday during a Gold match and that was my first disconnect since within the first month of the release. The common solution would be port-forwarding (if you have a router) if it happens this consistently (for me, port-forwarding won't make a difference at all). If not, blame EA's servers since they've been terrible ever since the game's release.

plain and simple answer is EA's servers and software don't provide a stable connection.

I find the first time a day I buy something from the store with my ingame earned credits....like a veteran pack....I get a guaranteed disconnect. I then get kicked back to the menu and start MP again and then I see what I bought. After that it seems to be stable for a while.

I am not 100% sure if this matters, but if I have OriginClientService running along with Origin, I don't get disconnected as much with that running as well. I just go into my Origin folder and dbl click it to run it. In the past, when I have a stable connection to the game, I checked my task manager and OriginClientService was running. When I get disconnected, it isn't.

I don't just get disconnected in game either. I get "lost connection" messages when spec'ing out a new player as well when not even in a lobby so the 'network issues between players' has to be a bunk explanation. I think the only issues caused by networking is lag. EA really needs to deal with their packed loss issues a lot better. This obviously isn't a problem on the users side.

Port forwarding isn't the answer either unless you have those ports purposely closed. I tried that and it didn't work.....(I was sure that wasn't the problem before I even tried) I get the EXACT same problems even if I go directly off my cable modem which isn't wireless.

I've been getting lost connection a lot today, once I get that I have to close the game down since it wont connect back to multiplayer, it just sits at the loading screen. If I can get back into multiplayer that session it tends to be fine, but if I restart the game it will just give me a lost connection again. :pinched:

make sure you either wait until EACoreServer service shuts down by itself or manually shut it down in your task manager before restarting ME3. I am almost positive that EACoreServer gets corrupted when you "lost connection...."

There really is no fix. I just experimented with it until I can massage a semi stable connection. I happily say that if I do get d/c, it is usually in the second round. I feel sorry for those of you who get d/c in later rounds.

Buying a pack first and forcing a lost connection seems to fix it, after that I'm able to go back into multiplayer and I'm fine.

Getting DC'd in round 9 platinum definately isn't fun. I've never had this happen before.

what is the effing deal? Why is this not fixed yet? We should not have to disable our firewalls, do complicated tech tweaks to our internet connection that some just can't do or disable our security to play MP. I bet if they disabled THEIR security with the BS redundancies, MP would work just fine.

I had this problem something awful since Earth, but for the last week or so I've been good. Starting Sunday morning, however, the little devil returned. I've found that, in some minor cases, clearing your Temporary Internet Files resolves the problem. In most severe chronic cases, however, the culprit is a mystery. Routers, firewalls, internet security settings, operating systems, etc.- there is no clear link to the problem on a local level.
