The rocket glitch has done so much damage to the Multi, that some of it is irreversable. The longer it stays the less playable the multi is going to be. Many people got like millions of credits doing it and got tons of all kind of equipment they would not get in months playing normally.

So now N7 ranking IMHO is useless and it says nothing.

Please Bioware consider redirecting you efforts towrds the Single Player rather than Multi. Thanks from the mountain.

If one of my employees took 5 months to do a critical job, they would be fired.

Enjoy the video Mike. I hope it comes up in board meetings how Bioware suckered people into buying premium packs for new classes and weapons, released a new mode giving out more credits .. but forgot to do the one thing that broke the game. Shame on you guys. Seriously.

What if bioware added the missile glitch on purpose because they couldn't beat platinum without it?

The BioWare devs can't even beat silver.  We've seen them play.

I wanted to ask... is there any sollution for Vanguard glitch?

Force host to enforce "Really dead, Dave" protocol by forcing the glitched character dead on both host/client, then initiate relocate/revive as normal. Not a perfect solution, but preferrable to what we have now.

I noticed the Vanguard Glitch usually dumps glitched characters to the starting LZ and glues them there, which leads me to suspect the game going haywire on detecting a character in an impossible dead/alive state on revive, forcing them into an eternal relocate loop...at least until the match ends.

Either that or fix their netcode.

I think I'm going to give the MP a miss until they fix the game breaking bugs (dropped games and missile glitchers)

That's very comforting. I imagine that any glitch involving latency issues is very difficult to fix, so it's nice to know that they won't JUST be banning people.

Maybee finally we get better netcode. Someone could dream, right?

Yeah, sorry about the ultralight SMG non-fix. I think we have it this time ;)

What exactly is causing it? If you can discuss it. Is it actually a problem with ULM or the weapons that it applies to? The latter would be my guess since it does work on the geth plasma SMG.

I don't understand the whiny attitude of people on here most of the time.

You moan about randoms in gold matches and declare never to PUG again, then why would plantinum suddenly be any different without the missile glitch?

Go private get friends it's not rocket glitch science.

I don't think complaining about something that's completely game breaking is whining, especially not for something that exploits the credit system that a lot of people have spent REAL money on. That's not whining, that's a genuine consumer complaint and Bioware have a responsibility to address it.
If the missile glitch doesn't affect you, you have absolutely no business making snide remarks to people who are affected by it. Seriously, the 'get some freinds' response is about as lame as it gets on this forum. If we needed advice on how to socially interact with other humans we wouldn't be looking for tips on a video game forum.

But it is a viable answere/work around to the problem. I don't like to point out the obvious but it is there.

Other game breaking glitches that ruin the experience can't be addressed in the same manner besides not using that class/ weapon mod/ability altogether. BW also has a responcibility to address these too.

If I could help myself with those problems I would, but I can't.  Sometimes the community needs to help each other. (See previous post for link).

And I also hate to point out the obvious, but this is the forum where we should be voicing our concerns about multiplayer. The community isn't helping itself if it sticks its head in the sand and pretends it's not happening. There's a reason that almost every thread has some reference to missile glitching, we're completely fed up with it.

Finding a legit game is not the issue, we all have friends lists for that. The problem is that every player who plays legitimately and spent their time and money on multiplayer is being screwed over and undermined by cheating.

Game mechanics that screw up a characters are an issue in every multiplayer game. But one that gives you infinite 'kill everything' missiles, in a game that earns money through microsoft points? A few months ago we bit our lips and hoped they would fix it, but it's now been 3-4 months of solid cheating on multiplayer. It should have been fixed long before the Earth DLC was released. It showed a complete lack of foresight to release a game mode that gave out even more credits, whilst not fixing the cheating.

If a glitch is at the point where I suspect that the me3mpcheaters e-mail will spam block me purely from the volume of e-mails, then that's a problem. So yeah... complaining is kinda a thing, IMO.

Yes Mike Gamble Tweeted yesterday that a fix is in the works as we speak.

That's what they've been saying about EVERYTHING for monthes and they haven't fixed one glitch yet.

Actually, we've fixed a lot so far. Three patches full, actually.

About the rocket glitch - we're taking it very seriously. I'll have more for you early next week.

There seems to be a reckless lawlessness to random platinum games now, and it undermines all the good that introducing the new difficulty brought. Many people who have enjoyed this game collecting all the weapons honestly are very dissapointed in the unshackled glitch abuse so prevelent in matches.

Those are my thoughts exactly!

if nothing else this extreme onset of gltichers will weed out the cheap cheaters as they are rapidly banned.. i wish there were not people like that in the world but there are.

I had a glitcher that was mad at me cause my connection was too good and he couldn't do the glitch. Then he died like every 5 seconds like a typical bronze player on platinum lol

Trouble is I find this attitude to be utter nonsense. I have paid real money on packs, and been here since day one.

But I could not care less about the state of somebody else's manifest. What weapons/characters they do or don't have or indeed how they got them.

It's not real. It's a  game. How am I being screwed? I enjoy playing still don't you? I chose to spend money, I wasn't forced, was you?

It sounds to me like you are sore that you cannot cheat too for fear of being banned, or that someone has a virtual item that you don't, which seems very obsurd to me. I also think that there are far far more people indifferent to this than are bothered by it. BSN is only a small fraction of the player base remember.

My enjoyment of this game is spoilt by only one thing. The vanguard bug, 'cause I like my Kroguard. But I get the glitch 30 to 40% of the time.

No offense, but the patches haven't really fixed what they set out to.

Vanguard glitch is still present and game-breaking, SMG ultralight materials still doesn't work, Kroguard rage still doesn't work, Justicar Evo 5 passive still bugged, etc.

I agree.

Yeah it's such a minor deal. Bioware are inundated with complaints. Thouands of emails are being sent with cheaters details. Thousands of people are being banned. The forums are completely full of it. Game lobbies are full of the same missile glitch discussion.

One small perusal of the forums on any mass effect 3 site or spending any time chatting to randoms in lobbies would suggest that indifferent is the last thing that people are.

If your enjoyment of the game is spoilt by something so trivial, maybe take your own advice and quit trying to argue with me on a subject you don't even care about.

This may be true but many still abound, many that was were supposed to have been already fixed.  Ops pack glitch, Vanguard glitch, Tpose Glitch etc etc.  I do appreciate the store glitch fix though, or at least the fact that when it happens I still get to see what I unlocked.

i think the glitch needs to be fixed, people are kicking people out for even having the commonly used weapons that go with the glitch now just to prevent them from having a rocket glitcher in their lobby. Not to mention you can accidently go into Rocket Glitch if you dont know about it and press the buttons. I guess the guy who posted the video did it because he knew people would follow suit and copy him which would in turn force Bioware to do something about since it makes getting credits easily.

Now to the people who use real money for the packs, I have nothing really to say to you. You can get those same packs by playing a match and using the in game credit system to get it without using real money.

Now that Mr. Gamble has addressed you and whoever else that has made a thread about the glitch, hopefully these damn threads are going to stop. I think i might be one of the only people who doesnt care about the glitchers. Their only hurting themselves and the threads are just as annoying. The only reason I hope they fix the glitch is to STOP THE THREADS!

Please fix this! I'm only wasting consumables and one-time bonuses by entering into these matches and then having to leave for fear of the ban hammer by proxy, myself!
