I only have 7 characters in my profile, but 11 listed for Profile Diagnostics.
How do I remove characters in Profile Diagnostics?

You need to re-upload the characters and once they appear in the character screen try deleting them again.
If the character xml file is missing and you don't have the character on your hard drive you can create a new character with the exact same name and that should replace the character that's in the diagnostics. Once it appears on the website character screen you can then delete it again.
That's what I had to do to fix the problem.

Overal, a not so clean efficient system that sucks on every aspect.
I do that too, overwriting the names and deleting once they pop up still.
