Dear Bioware,

This is not a flame or even a rant but an open request from the PC gaming community to not penalize us for the delays needed for platform development. You have in other threads stated the PC version is done and the hold is waiting for Sony to verify for the PS3. While we appreciate the wait for our PS3 brothers we do not see why we, the PC gamers should be penalized for Sony's delay.

We the undersigned respectfully request that you release the PC if it is complete. The the console versions take longer then that is dfor the console version users to deal with. We PC gamers have had to wait enough over the years for the console gamers and feel that our time is due.

Respectfully PC Gamers of Dragon Age...

Please do not make lengthy replies to this thread, if you agree sign if not do not. If we present this as adults perhaps we can get a response.

I don't even play on PC but I agree with this , at least that way us console players would be able to hear about what the DLC is like ahead of time because you PC people could buy it play it and post about it and post videos on youtube.

Im not really sure who to respond to this as a Ps3 "Brother"..but least you were respectful.

But if the Pc version is done, then l say release it.

...just as long as we console owners dont get screwed over....or if later down the road for some weird reason the console dlc is ready before the Pc version.....

Not me. Couldn't give much of a monkies when it comes out. From a marketing point of view I can see fully exactly why they want to make it a simultaneous release, to avoid alienating one of their console markets.

So why am I posting here? To give a fair and balanced counterpoint, that at least some PC Gamers don't feel the same way as the above poster(s).

That seems more fitting.

They will do what will bring in the most hype and the most money. It s a business, you know. Personally, it will be out when its out. I am in no hurry.

Not to mention the underwhelming response from the last two DLCs. Sure, most consumers are happy - but happy people don't post threads. They don't want their forums swimming with, "WTF?! $10 for 15 minutes of Alistair whining and shiny gold armor" threads for two weeks before releasing a console port of the same DLC.

And it's not just the immediate alienation of the console market concerning a particular piece of DLC, they don't want to get the rep as a company that is more apt to support their PC ports than their console port.

Regardless, **** the console.   /signed Image IPB

As if they even have a choice.

When EA says "Jump," BW gets on their knees and opens wide.

I think your gym teacher may have been taking advantage of you if that's what you think the command "jump" means.

Dear Bioware,

Please help me to get real. I think petitions are a great idea and that if you reply to this one, you won't ever have to reply to the dozens of other petitions that are also posted. Also, I would like some footy pajamas with heated footies. Please make them solar powered.

Respectfully PC Gamers of Dragon Age...

oh dear lork

Online petitions being as effective as they are, I wonder if it'll be okay to hold my breath.

If you don't hear from me again in this thread, you'll know you didn't drum up enough support to succeed.

If by my "gym teacher" you mean you, then yeah I feel that you misled me.

I agree, there is no reason we should be stalled as well as it would not really hurt releasing it for PC first, mainly because it is so much easier to develop for the PC in some point of view.

None offense meant to the console people or whatsoever, but we others certainly would like to see the release faster if it is ready for PC.

That's just part of my "Give John Candy the Freedom of the City" campaign for his amazing work in Cool Runnings.
