So I've heard of people having this problem on PC, but I don't see anything to help with this on PS3. Basically, I don't have any dialog audio during cutscenes. I have background noises and music, but no speaking. I can hear characters talking during combat, but the voices cut out during the cutscenes; their mouths move but there is no audio. I checked the options menu, and I have dialog volume at 100%. I turned down the music and sound effect volumes to nothing, and I can occasionally hear voices during cutscenes, except they're really quiet and sound like they're coming out of a tin can. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

This has come up a few times in the past and is because of your PS3 settings, not the game. You need to go to your PS3 audio options and ensure your sound output is set appropriate to your output configuration: stereo/5.1/etc.
Essentially what is happening is that you are ONLY hearing the left and right of a whole surround sound output. As most of the dialog in conversations and cinematics comes out the center channel you are not hearing it. What you are hearing when it sounds like it's in a tin can is actually the reverb being sent to the left/right channels.
Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! Now I can play the Extended Cut and actually hear what they're saying!
