I just finished downloading Dragon Age over Steam, and I thought I'd get on here to register my keys. I'm having plenty of problems doing THAT, but I'm sure you're already aware.

Meantime, I need an account here on the Social Network to do that, so I signed up for one. To my surprise, the Social Network already recognizes me, albeit by an ancient email address that I haven't used in years. I suppose I used it for some previous BioWare game...?

Regardless, I have an EA Games account, and I decided to import that one instead. Everything seems fine, and my display name is correct and so forth. The problem is that my profile still displays my old, unused email address, even though my email address in my EA Games profile (and, indeed, the very email address I have to sign in with to access my EA Games account) is current. FAQ says I can't change my email address except via my EA Games account, and that one is already correct.

What gives? Should I be doing something differently? Do I need to wait for the system to register a change? And what is this ostensibly new system doing with my own email address, anyway? I'm terrified something off-kilter's going to happen and I'm going to be locked out of my account here because it's not tied to my current email address.
