DA: The Next Thing™, now with seamless high-definition blinking. I bet this took a crack squad of animators months...
(Honestly, I have no idea. I'm sure they blinked before?)

In DA:O I noticed that only the Warden blinked (kinda odd, since you rarely get to see her/his face). I can think of the cinematic where daddy Cousland denies you to Duncan at the very beginning of the human noble origin.
I have no idea about DAII, never paid much attention, but I remember dead Weasley couldn't close his eyes on his own, so I guess they made Aveline pass her hand on his face to hide the thing.

I look at the BSN like high school- I have my best friends, the place I feel the most comfortable, the school bullies- those bratty kids who tear other people down to feel good about themselves..thankfully since I'm a grown up now, I can ignore the **** and focus on what we're really here for. Donuts.
I don't doubt the honesty of this post. I would assume you actually mean this and believe this. But just as a sort of reality check, to help you, I'm sorry to inform you of that the most hateful and bullish posts I've ever seen on this forum, were actually written by you. And quite a lot of them too. If any DA2 critic had ever done like 3% of that, he/she would have been promptly perma-banned.

So you're saying I get special treatment by the mods because I'm a fan of DA2? Interesting. I wonder what they would have to say about that.
I imagine your post was written less to help me and more to make me feel like a little fool. At least you were wrong about one thing. The post I wrote wasn't honest. Even though I'm a grown up, it's hard to ignore the mean-spirited negativity. I hear it, I feel it, and I'm bothered by it. That's something I understand I need to work on. But at the end of the day, I'm an outspoken female gamer who plays on console, enjoyed DA2, and supports Bioware. I guess that makes me a minority, and maybe people don't like minorities on this board- especially outspoken ones. If I've ever been cruel to anyone I'd hope they would speak out now and let me know so I could apologize personally and formally. Because while I may speak out for what I believe, I'm not a bully or mean-spirited and I'm offended you'd think so, since I don't believe I've ever even spoken to you before.

Dead people don't close their eyes. In fact, very rarely do dead people have their eyes closed for this very reason. The gesture of a living person closing the eyes of a dead person, however, has been in cinema for decades though.

This seems a bit uncalled for. I don't even see where Avejajed was refering to anyone specific. Sounds to me like you're just looking for someone to unload on. Bad form.

Ah! There we go then, they definitely blink. Hm, maybe the blinking that we're talking about might be something to do with a weird glitch or flashback cutscene rather than actual human blinking?
Ohhhh that's interesting

Gosh, you're right. I thought, however, that if I got stabbed by a knife in my chest, I would probably close my eyes due to the pain. It slipped my mind, though.

Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
@Huminds If we forced the OGB into a core, critical role like Tiber Septim, what would you suggest we tell people who said “No?”
@Huminds I strongly want to deal with the OGB decision, but not in a way that ignores it or requires massive story deviation on that scale ["that scale" = OGB becoming a huge part of the main story].

Cool. They've of course said this before, but nice to have a clear citation now.

David Gaider @davidgaider
I find it funny when people say the "original" BioWare is gone, when Luke Kristjanson-- who wrote BG1-- is in my office and still writing.
And @BioMarkDarrah, DA's Project Director? Lead Programmer since BG1: Tales of the Sword Coast.
And DA's Lead Writer? Wrote about half of BG2. Shoot, there's enough mummy dust floating around DA to wake Tutankhamun.
Ben Gelinas @bengelinas
.@davidgaider Also still here from BG2: Aidan, David Falkner, Plewes, Roffel, N. Borstad, Brenon Holmes, Preston, Matt Goldman, John Epp...
.@davidgaider Nathan Frederick, Chris Christou, Aaryn Flynn, Casey Hudson, Steve Gilmour... #BG2
