Just wondering. It seems like fighting is the best XP. I read on the captured quest you can put on a guards uniform. But I found it easy enough to just kill everyone. But there are several other instances in this game where you can pursuade to get you out of fights. Does this net any XP. Ser Cauthrian in the castle at the end of the game is one example. I was able to persuade her to stand down. But I can't tell if I got any XP for that.
Is there any XP for pursuading options?

On one of my plays when I spoke to the knight in the Lothering chantry I like a sleazebag asked for a reward for giving him his fellow dead knight/friends locket back I leveled.I was close to leveling. On a reload the same locket quest without asking for monetary reward resulted in less XP and I did not level.
I didn't check the actual XP differences and only noticed since I was on the verge of level anyway.

Not entirely sure but I think in most cases, yes. It just doesn't flash an XP gain number, but if you keep an eye on your bar when you persuade or intimidate your way out of something, it typically goes up. Obviously, this is hard to tell as you get to higher levels as 50 or 60xp or whatever i just a drop in the bucket. Also, it may be less in general or could be determined seperately in each instance. Don't really know. Also, you don't get their loot, which led me to develop a habit of murdering basically everyone the game allows me to so I can take their stuff. The Grey Wardens appreciate your donation.
