I recently installed EasyTutu and I noticed that the character models are a little different from those found in Baldur's Gate Vanilla. Namely, the protaganist (a human fighter) has a different head (or maybe just hair) and Imoen is not wearing a hood.
If I equip Imoen with a hood will it show on her character model? It's strange seeing a Theif without a hood!
I don't really care about the protaganist having a different head (or hair), although it is stange and will take a while for my attention to stop actively picking up on it.

Someone will come along and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure thieves still get hoods if they have a default rogue avatar and put on armor. I think. And you wouldn't want armor on her whether it draws a hood or not if you have her dualed to mage, because you'd be cutting off all her spells.

BG1 Imoen is not a spellcaster (unless you maker her one on your own), thus armor might a literal life-saver.
Chaotic Clown, EasyTutu uses the BG2 engine. What you are seeing is what BG2 characters look like. If you want to change the appearances of your little guys, you can use further mods, namely 1PP or Moinesse Avatars (it is possible to install them together, but you'd better make sure you know exactly what you are doing before trying that).
Another option is to go InfinityAnimations which is vastly bigger and may even include both 1PP and Moinesse (if you want it to).
1PP is mostly vanilla BG1.
Moinesse has a number of self-made avatars, but it doesn't touch every single combination of race, gender, class and armor.
Infinity Animations tries to do its name justice, importing hundreds of animations from just quite a few games, including Diablo, Icewind Dale etc.

Rogues in BG2 engine wear hoods when they have leather armour equipped
Also human female warrior outfits in BG vanilla were a bit sexist in my opinion. I like using tutu/trilogy to bring the nicer BG2.
