 Bummer? It's not like it can change.
Unless we get an obnoxious thing where we cant leave the match unless we dashboard like in GOW, which is a stupid concept.

Can happen if the guy hosting got... power interruption or got disconnected, he's just as frustrated as you.

Unless, of course, the connection to the game is lost after the host leaves. :/

Yeah, it's no big deal if all of you can re-connect. But when you're in one of the last waves and only you and another guy manage to return... Well, things don't usually end well.

Then play until you die, and you still get XP and credits, so match not wasted

That would be the fault of the servers, though, not the host.

That being said, there's no way to tell if it was actually the host abandoning the game or if it was the server that disconnected the host.

I was the host in a Gold game last night when I got booted from the "Lost connection to ME3 servers." After that, it would not reconnect me all night, even though my internet connection itself was fine.

It was frustrating. We had just completed the objective in wave 10, received the money, then... dark. All I could think about was those poor other people, they did nothing to deserve this!

I'm talking about when the game disconnects everyone during host migration. I know it's the fault of the servers, not the host a lot of the time. But it's still a problem when a host disconnects for whatever reason.

I love when the host leaves or gets disconnected shortly after completing the wave 10 objective. It's like they're giving you their share of the credits.

My favorite one was when the host was the only one not readied up in the lobby. We vote-kicked the host.

When the lobby came back, the other two people had left. Do people just by reflex hit the quite button?

Or you use melee as it happens, in which case your command is buffered and executed as an exit, instead. Then you lose everything.
