Hi,
I was kind of dissapointed that we didnt get to see the Normandy while it was undergoeing retrofitting in the game.
and since i wanted to see that, i figured i'd make it myself.

This is going to be a Standalone UDK level. Everything in it will be made by myself form start to finish. although i obviously took inspiration from all 3 games and their art books.

I made a small little codex entry to help describe it.

Custom Codex Entry:

"The Alliance dry dock facility codenamed "Goliath" is a state of the art research and development facility for the Alliance Navy. Located near the Aliance headquarters in Vancouver. The facilty houses a series of classified R&D labs and a starship manufacturing facility.

The Goliath facility was home to the original Normandy stealth frigate, prior to it's shakedown mission to Eden Prime. Scientists also developed The normandy's stealth systems here.

Given the similarities to the original, the new Normandy SR2 was brought here to undergo study and Alliance retrofitting. Although the larger size of the Sr2 has made the retrofit problematic."

This was just a brain fart that got me started, and i'll probably rewrite it for the final level.

And now SCREENSHOTS!!!
note; all of these are still in Autodesk Maya. I need the same scene for a render class in maya so i figured i would design the entire scene first before porting the seperate pieces into the unreal engine.

(Also note that these shots contain only high poly geometry used for the normal mapping process.
the unreal engine pieces will be much more optimized once I'm finished with the scene itself.)

Any comments suggestions questions and other forms of feedback are much appriciated.
Also once its done I intend to upload the file for all to enjoy. (it's just a showcase level, no gameplay)
