Yay. Nice to see the thread is still puking out self-righteous elitists saying "I play the game as it was intended" and "I play for fun, not credits."
Although I think my favorite was the girl that kept saying "ME3 isn't a democracy!" and to kick the person next round if you don't like it. So... it's not a democracy, we just vote on stuff and the majority rules. Perhaps you need to look up the word "democracy."
That was me. Read my post again. Reading comprehension not your strong suit eh? When 4 people are playing a match and if 3 want to die at wave 10 and 1 wants to finish to extraction the 3 don't get to vote on how the 1 decides to play. Thus, your "vote" and your majority mean nothing in that match. See how that works?
After the match they can kick - during the match too bad.

Or it's dawning on more people how pointless round 11 is.
Yeah, all the cool kids farm instead of trying to actually play the game.
you play 10 rounds, get rewarded for 10 rounds, at 11 you hunker down and wait. when you've done that ad nauseum since the game came out you become more interested in unlocking fresh goodies instead of worrying about a round that doesn't matter either way even if you finish it with 4 people or 1
Really? Cause I've been playing since the game came out and so have the people I normally play with, and yet we still always go for extraction. We also always play U/U/G, or more recently Platinum (though to be fair, we select both enemy and map as of yet, but that will change once we get the swing of things). Is it so hard to believe people like to win?

So playing the game to extraction is elitism? Funny, I thought "you stupid noob, you're supposed to die on wave 10" sounded pretty damned elitist. Especially when you consider the fact that no one said you couldn't play the game that way with your friends. The only thing I and everyone else has a problem with is when you pick up a random and expect him/her to die on wave ten just so you can keep farming.
The standard is extraction, thus one should expect the random to try for extraction. If you want him/her to die, communicate it beforehand instead of ****ing after. That way, they have the option to quit and find a new map. Dying on wave 10 is the exception, not the rule. ****ing at people for following the standard is elitism, not expressing an interest in playing the game out.
TL;DR- I have no problem with people who want to farm and die on wave 10 to get credits faster, I only have a problem with the people who act like everyone should play that way. THAT is elitism. All any of us are saying is if you want to play that way with randoms, communicate it beforehand or suck it up when they try to finish.

I know this is probably too much for you to grasp, but the only reason you can't kick during a match is because of the potential for griefing. Which is what you and your ilk does. There isn't a perfect solution but this way works better. Now go somewhere else and, I don't know, argue that no country is a democracy because there aren't votes on when a traffic light turns.

I'm surprised you don't want to farm credits fast as possible since you're obviously also spending them at the Strawman Emporium. I very clearly said that the elitism is this "I play how it's INTENDED" and even more retarded, the "I play for fun, not credits" arguments.
I have no problem with people who want to farm and die on wave 10 to get credits faster, I only have a problem with the people who act like everyone should play that way. THAT is elitism.

"Germans?" "Forget it, he's rolling..."
Sometimes, the situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!
Sometimes, you're just the one to do it, so drive on!

I like to imagine my characters flipping the bird at the enemy as they board the shuttle yelling back "You will always remember this as the day you ALMOST killed <insert character's name here>!!!" It's a much more pleasant image then just looking at that Assault Trooper standing over me as if he's laughing saying "HAW! HAW! I a lowly trash mob just killed a player! I'm so badass!" It's a very sad picture and makes me depressed.
When I get depressed I get very angry.
When I get angry. I demand more sacraficial enemies to be slaughtered.
I have a very vicious streak that if someone lifts a weapon at me, they need to die.
Getting paid for it is just a bonus.
I would much rather die standing and resisting to the last breath then lay down and die. I like to earn my credits instead of just taking the easy way out.
You never know because one day... one day they'll do something amazing that would require you to extract.
When that day comes I'll be ready because I'll know how to survive and I'll be rolling my eyes at all the "pros" going "DURRRR... HOW I EXTRACT?" because they've been "failing" so much they forget what Victory tastes like.
It tastes of Awesome by the way.

I would say failing to inform a random that the rest of the team plans to suicide at the end of wave 10 and simply assuming that you can bully them into conformity once the match has started is far worse in terms of griefing.Rifneno wrote...

If you don't have the decency to warn players ahead of time, its no ones fault but your own when players fail to abide by your way of playing the game.
Ofcourse I'm sure you'll ignore this, since you couldn't be a good little troll if you didn't.

So you are saying people shouldn't try to win and should give up. Plenty of people out there want to complete the whole mission whether for the XP or just because it is part of the enjoyment they get out of the game. I say shame on you for giving up. You sound like the type of person who seems to feel like using a medi-gel is the worse thing you can do. If you are playing with friends and you all agree to not get back up, fine, but don't blame randoms you play with for wanting to win.
OH. MY. GOD. Its germans, Hi germans its plox!

Open a window, draw open the curtains an take some sunlight.. It'll be okay. If you tell me we're just farming credits, then ... THEN I'll be okay with it. Be straight upfront with your goals, else i'm playing for extraction. Its fun for me.
