If all your team is down after you get the money on wave 10 please be curteous enough not to waste the lives of your teammates by spending 10 minutes trying to solo the wave.. your time might not be valuable but others is. Thank You.
So if they don't want to finish wave 11, but X person does, this person should just go with the rest of the lazy players?
Yeah, no.
Also if your time is so valuable then what are you doing playing computer games?
Q-Q
wave 11 is redundant and a waste of time.
Sorry but its the truth, its only made for a false sense of being victorious above an artificial intelligence.
The entire game is a waste of time. Nothing any of us do while playing this matters in the least. It's about fun. If a person wants to finish each game fully, then nobody should be getting on their case like "Oh just die already so we can farm more credits". Want to be with likeminded people who want to die after wave 10? Private matches say hello.
Fallacious argument.
One persons version of fun should over rule the other 3 ppl version of fun. Me and 2 other people have fun farming credits, 1 person has fun making the other 3 ppl watch him run around.
If there was a way to filter out people then yes that would make sense, but most people dont have mics or bother to use them and its usually FBWGG... that is basically a tacit admission to credit farming.

So you are saying people shouldn't try to win and should give up. Plenty of people out there want to complete the whole mission whether for the XP or just because it is part of the enjoyment they get out of the game. I say shame on you for giving up. You sound like the type of person who seems to feel like using a medi-gel is the worse thing you can do. If you are playing with friends and you all agree to not get back up, fine, but don't blame randoms you play with for wanting to win.
FFS it's a damned video game, not the olympic trials.
The term "giving up" only applies if you set a goal and decide to "give up" on reaching it.
Flamboyant believes that winning means accomplishing the mission. Which you do after wave 10. There is absolutely ZERO incentive to continue on past that point, other than some romanticized belief that you're some kind of war hero or video game god.
You're right, you should never try to be the best at or do the best you can no matter what it is. Sounds like the try-hard comments you hear in FPS. Like I said, if you are playing with friends and you decide not to get back up fine with me. I do it all the time because we don't need the xp. However, you choose to play with randoms you will come across people who want to win for one reason or another and I see nothing wrong with that.
On that we can agree. If they need the experience, we'll finish out the match. If Roy's goin in with nothing but lvl 20s, it wouldn't make sense to extract unless it's an extraction weekend.
You gotta give ya boi a carrot to chase.

The only way that would even be in any way a valid point is if you all agreed on it in the lobby before starting the match. Not starting a game, playing through it, dying and then complaining because the other player wont die too so you can hurry out of the game.

The ones that bother me the most is when the team is down to 2 bad players. 2 bad players with lots of consumables they aren't afraid to use. It's wave 7 and we got Rodney King'd, we're not pulling out a wave 10 victory. Let's just take our consolation prize and go. But no, they're spending all their time fleeing or chain reviving and when worse comes to worst they'll use every rocket, medigel, and survival pack they have. All while you twiddle your thumbs in spectator mode, occasionally glancing at your watch.
Too soon? HAHA

Actually I meant the massive beatdown. I forgot that tool died recently. Not that I care, but that wasn't the intended analogy.

But the rest of the time, extraction is winning in my book. If you don't feel like extracting, make that clear in the lobby or suck it up when someone tries to play the game the way it was intended to be played.

If your time is so precious, don't waste it on BSN or for that matter, playing video games. Get back to work.
We play games to waste time, but extraction wave is just pointless waste, we already got everything.

It's fun to do. Though Roy can see how it could be problematic through text.
Hmmmm. Will have to find a solution.

I don't want to take the risk anymore. The sooner the game ends, the less chance I have of losing everything to a disconnect.

maybe im just a try hard or something, but i like to feel as if i completely won the match.
yes i know its is faster to die after wave 10 objective, but it just feels wrong to me even though i dont get anything extra for doing it.... other than the personal satisfaction of fully winning.
also can some of you believe that there are people like me that think playing is fun rather than a credit grind?
IMO if you only play for credits then i feel sorry for you, like i said its only my opinion so dont get all rambo flame happy on me.
