I used AP ammo IV, Power Gear V, Power Amp IV, Shotgun Rail III


This class is AMAZING, I usually don't like infiltrators but this one bought my heart. 

The strategy here is simple, fight atlas from cover because their misiles can follow you to the infinite and beyond, it happened twice that I teleported while the misile was already in the air and it turned back and hit me behind the atlas... that must be fixed.

Primes are easy in certain way because they can miss their shots easily.
Banshees are left for the end when Primes and atlases are death, because I need the shotgun a lot with bosses, basically I only used the Pirahna to kill bosses.

Sometimes Phantoms can die from 1 hit, I don't know yet in what this depends on because most of the time I need 1 shadow strike from cloak and then shot, but other times they just died from 1 single shadow strike.


So people, N7 shadow is a great class and its electrical slash is very good too, even how I have it, it deals great damage and saved me more than once, well, you can check that because I have more tech kills than shotgun kills.


PS: seriously, some of you use sniper with this character?

46 minutes? Congrats for surviving with such a squishy class, but I honestly dont buy it.

With so many bosses on the field compared to gold, how did it only take an extra 10 minutes to finish?

Question: wouldn't it be better to use Hydraulic Joints V over Mental Focuser V? Surely 15% melee damage would be more useful than 12% power damage?

Oh yes someone else who uses the Pirahana on this class other than me!!!! I realized his boss killing potential with the Pirahana as well!! It is really amazing! Though I doubt I could ever solo gold with him, let alone plat! Great job!

u speced power damage/weight on N7 5 -- was that to buff Electric Slash 4? devs have said power bonuses don't affect Shadow's STrike's melee damage but the powers displays shows it buffing it?

notice that most of your equipment was for buffing power damage-- is it because you want to buff only Electric slash or do you think it affects Shadow STrike too even though dev has said it's supposed to be melee damage on SS only?

of course, just because devs said it, doesn't mean it works like that (ie, ULM still NOT working on smg's except gsmg, LOL)

maybe i need to watch some of those vids.

i tried soloing gold a few times. it's insane.

the hacking objective is swarmed in seconds, and when i train em all to the other side, and return to the hacking zone, i loose half my time and the point gets swarmed again in seconds.

edit/ after playing platinum a few times, i  don't even wanne know what's it like trying to slo.

still, congratulations i geuss.

Pirahna kill bosses so so fast, you just have to know how to fight them because obviously I don't go to the middle of the mob, no no no, I kill the non bosses first.

Actually, I was thinking that, but I haven't tested it yet.

Testing by BSN-ers has proven that passive power damange bonuses DO affect SS.  Also, Rank 6 of Sword Mastery is being found to not affect SS, only melee/heavy melee strikes.  I'm respeccing my Shadow to 6/4/6/5/5 due to this since I don't use actual melee much.

I actually tested it without power amps and there is a big difference.

Yeah, I must be cheating right?, but before say that I suggest you to try to play at 8-11 FPS and then tell me if you play as good as you usually do at 30 .

Nah, it's not that. It's he ONLY shows extraction. We don't care about extraction. Record a wave 10. Whole.  

 it is really problematic due to frame rate, but I recorded some of the gold's wave 10, I can try to record one, but it will be much more harder for me and If I see it impossible I will continue only showing extraction.
Besides, I'm not trying to convice anyone, people who believe and don't believe always will be there no matter what

Wow, that's a huge difference.. I will have to respec too... Thanx for the info!

Redjohn, I noticed you used the damage barrel on shotgun instead of accuracy mod.. you find that more helpful than the effective range increase from the accuracy mod?

I'm assuming you don't use Accuracy mod to engage bosses at range & you prefer dmg mod because you're in close range more often? Or you find that accuracy mod not that helpful to engage bosses at medium/long range?
