You pick enemies that stray of the ball of death and Vancouver is pretty big, so it is easy to pick on targets that stray
The number of little guys in Platinum is very low. It's almost all bosses. He needs to take down an Atlas in 10 seconds tops to have any chance. Especially when he has NO SURVIVABILITY AT ALL.
Also even little guys travel in groups of 2 or 3. If you attack 1, the others will attack you and put you down in 2 seconds. And he decloaks after SS.
Not argueing against redjohn (I've duo with him), not a fan of Air Quotes (he
used to complain about useless stuff iirc... ) but this time I'd suggest you stop wasting your time argueing with him, he argures like he's done solo and has more experience than some of the best players here, when in fact, he doesn't even have the reegar at lvl 10 or Krysae for that matter.
Not that manifest means a lot, but for me I have every weapon and I have tested them soloing myself, especially some of the OP ones (namely reegar krysae) and I know what DPS they can output, these days I either solo or speed run platinum (about 130k per 15 min), and
I've burnt at least 5 repec card on the shadow, equally or more on the slayer and so on. I also have full video showing me soloing with a phoenix guard in 21 min (my sig) and drell.
Why am I saying this? let me ask you, whose words weigh more? a player's experience goes as far as his rare-incomplete manifest, or players who have demostrated great experience and skills, such as Specter (just check out
his channel, nuff said), Stardusk (who spent plenty of time testing builds and weapons to make guides), Mandalore (fastest platinum speed run, gold run before) and myself with every single weapon at lvl X.
I'm a friend of RedJohn too, and I used to take his words for it, but this time after hearing out many great players opinions (and my own experience), I want to learn a thing or two about how to clear it so fast in that situation, build, map, enemies, without depleting consumables. It's not about fame e-peen whatever, it's about learning, improving our own, and teaching less experience players, clearing up blind foolishness (@lastlife).
Well guess I have too much time, peace.
