I didn't quite know where to post it, so I apologize if this was in the wrong forum, but can multiplayer profiles be shared across platforms? As in if I switched to PC could I recover my items and stats from the 360 version or would I have to start fresh?

I think you'd have to start fresh, as far as I know there's no way to link profiles like that.

I'm doing the same thing - Everything is separate across platforms (but I was hoping it wasn't). N7 Rank, unlocked characters, equipment, upgrades, consumables, etc. - all confined to the platform you are using them on. The exception is your GAW stats that benefit the SP campaign. I worked up readiness to 100% by playing MP on the PC, and it showed up as 100% for me on the Xbox too. That was a happy surprise
