You know it just occurred to me that this is probably going to become a running gag, Isabela's in every Dragon Age game and the PC gets to sleep with her.

Isn't Isabela in a romance with Fenris if Hawke pursues someone else? If I recall, she asks him to come with her if she gains a new ship during his Act III "Questioning Beliefs" quest.
Having Isabela appear in the third game as a love interest might bother people who romanced her as Hawke in Dragon Age II.

I don't think that she's likely to be a full companion anytime soon for the simple reason that she was romance-able. They'd have to create one set of dialogue for non-romanced Isabellas, and a second set for romanced Isabellas, as well as having to explain what happened between her and Hawke. It'd take up double the resources, and players would only ever see one of the sets in a given playthrough. My sympathies, though. I liked her character too.
