Asari Justicar Adept Assault Rifle Weight

I was wondering how heavy is the striker? The Asari Justicar power rank 4 let you increase weight capacity OR increase weapon damage by 7.5 percent, and rank 6 lets you reduce assault rifle weight by 30 percent OR increase weapon damage by 10 percent.
I would like to have at least one damage increase point, so which rank would let me reduce the weight of the Striker more so I can spam Reave and Bubble more frequently?
I could resort to use my Revenant as other crowd control option, but I would prefer the striker. Or is it better to use the lighter Mattock or avenger with all rank points pump into damage increase?

Anyways, my weapon of choice for this build is the mattock (usually extended barrel and clip), its a reliable AR with good damage and a quick reload, Its also nice to stick as close to 200% as possible, the more reaves I get off, the better.

This is one of my favorite characters, I have her with a similar set up, but I ran offensive bubble (love dropping it in a choke point and setting up my own bio explosions!).

So what did you put in the rank 4 and 6 of the justicar power ranks? Did you mattock's weight go down considerably?
I mean, I would REALLY really prefer to use either the revenant or the striker (since fitness expert stacks with full defensive bubble with a crowd control weapon plus maybe a krogan sentinel spamming striker and nades equals the firepower and defensive capability of a battleship)

havent tried the striker much, but the revenant will put you at about 175% (not bad), but i just find the mattock to be much more precise for my playstyle (I tend to play a lot more mobile and active, so the revenant really slows me down wit the long reload times and slow effect on firing.)
Using the bubble as a defensive tool is great in theory, but the reality is, unless you have a team with a plan, or are uploading, groups generally dont stay stationary or move together. especially when you have charging enemies (banshees brutes phantoms etc) will constantly force you out of your bubble, causing you to re-cast, wasting time, This is why I highly reccomend going for atleast the warp evolution to help detonate explosions.
That being said, if you do have a team that works cohesively, the defensive bubble can be very useful, It all depends on your playstyle though

If you really insist on having an AR, go with the Mattock. It's beast. If you have the Harrier, go with that instead. It's even more beast.

Then one day I was lucky enough to have a justicar and a n7 engineer (the ammo beacon gal) play with me. They set me up right in the middle of firebase ghost. And I just stood there absorbing fire from geth, spamming grenades and striker up until wave 10 or so on silver when the pyros start to swarm me. A feat that would make krogans everywhere proud
Anyway, with a 175 percent weight for the revenant I guess that much firepower would compensate for the low damage(since you took BOTH weight reduction perks). I would probably go with the mattock and increase weight capacity and +10% damage until I get the carnifex.
Thanks though

for justicar I went with duration/capacity, power damage, assault rifles (with the mattock X this puts you to 200%).

rank 5 power damage upgrade for the passive doesnt work so you should take headshot damage instead

See, now you're judging meFoggyFishburne wrote...
"Don't judge me"? Who the hell opens a thread like that. First of all, if you're comfortable with a certain build, go with it. Second, you're not supposed to spec pull. It's garbage on gold or plat. Third, you're supposed to use handguns for all power based classes. Adepts damage output is mainly biotics. So go with something that gives 200% cd so you can spam the **** out of your abilities.
If you really insist on having an AR, go with the Mattock. It's beast. If you have the Harrier, go with that instead. It's even more beast.
I have a standard human adept that I think out-perform pretty much all the other adept class power wise. Got bored with it, so I wanna give defensive play a try.
I tried the striker with the justicar adept build. I don't really need to spam pull, since the piercing mod on the striker works against guardians; for the rest I just camp inside my bubble and open fire. And the striker works pretty well against phantoms. They can't shoot me behind my bubble, while I just shoot at their general vicinity to deal damage

Remember, you can't deal any damage if you're dead. So the 66066 build with max health and shields is actually gonna serve you well on gold. I went for power damage and reduced AR weight to get the most out of reave (it does damage over time and stacks with previous reave hits so). With a fairly offensive gaming style, this defensive build keeps you alive.
Plus she's hot ;-)
OH as for the gun, what foggyfishbone said. Mattock or Harrier.

In any case, the Striker is a pretty poor choice of weapon for the Justicar - you may do well with it on Bronze and Silver, but for Gold/Platinum it really isn't a viable choice and there are far better alternatives. If you are set on using an Assault Rifle, the Cerberus Harrier is easily the best choice. If you don't have that, I suggest putting the Mattock or Phaeston on.
