Is there some sort of catch/requirement needed to get the scene slides of Miranda helping the Alliance & Jack with her students for the EC's Destroy ending? Getting the highest EMS total doesn't seem to be enough, since neither of their slides were present for me in the best version of the Destroy ending. (perhaps a lower EMS is required?)

No, I saw them, and I got the best EMS possible without multiplayer. So it isn't that.

It could be if you have Kasumi or Zaeed alive, the could take their place; that's just a guess though.

It's an admitted bug. If either of them are romanced however, you get a unique slide.

For Jack with her students, you need to tell them to be in support roles...
Otherwise, they die...

If either is a love interest, you get a picture of them looking at the stars...


Beyond that, anyone who shows up in ending slides, kill off. (Kasumi, Zaaed, Jacob, Samara, etc)
You monster...

Alternatively, you can just look at the slides on Youtube...

Killing Kasumi, Zaeed, etc. doesn't seem to work, as it still won't show the Miranda & Jack slides for the Destroy ending (instead it'll transition to the Turchanka slides).

And yeah, I know I can watch them on Youtube, but this is for a video project I'm doing and I need the video of the Miranda and Jack slides.

Even if you do everything right, the slides won't neccessarily show up. Only a limited number are shown. For example, Zaeed is alive and well but I didn't get his slide in Control.

It's a bit random really. They can't show all the slides because the speech is only so long. If there are too many slides, they will end up transitioning too fast making it pointless.

 ^ Except it doesn't seem like it's totally based on randomness, as none of my Destroy playthroughs has either the slides for Miranda or Jack in them, regardless if Kasumi/Zaeed/Jacob/Samara are alive.

Perhaps it's a matter of how high/low the EMS score is?
(not the lowest but not the highest either)
