The Pros:
*You don't have to use any mods, Amps, or even have to think about every step.
*Guaranteed survival rate upped by 200%.
*On Silver/Gold/Plat, it's about survival.
*They must look pretty epic.
The Cons:
*If your a COD fanatical mongrel, you'd care about points and /ragequit.
*Nothing really
They're making it easier for you to get money for your next weapon fix, you sure you want to complain about freebies?

Glacier Gold Cerberus. Both of them had N7 Piranha X and N7 Typhoon X. They were mowing down Atlases like they were Assault Troopers. Really, one Atlas was gone within no more than 5 seconds. The gap in DPS was so huge, at first I thought they were cheating.
How is that fun? I know this kind of DPS is required for Platinum, but how on earth is any class supposed to compete with that? I left after the 6th wave. I know I could've remained and earned easy 70k credits, but this was just no fun. I was a Demolisher and I felt totally useless. It's all because of Platinum. If this DPS weren't required to finish the damn thing...
Kind sir, i hope you haven't started a nerf thread going by another name. Anyhow, the Demolisher is more of a support and crowd control class. Your main power is the Supply pylon which basically translates SUPPORT. And they were destroyers, basically "soldiers" and what do said soldiers do? They kill, hopefully everything, so stop complaining.

Typhoon is actually a minor upgrade over revenant, but that little bit shows. Piranha may be in need of balancing, I believe it has highest DPS crown by around 40%?

It does get annoying when they start killing every possible thing with little tactical sense. Let your teammates handle the flankers and you go after the heavies and big mobs, oh yee with the heavy combat classes.

how is it you were left out? A properly specc'ed demolisher can trash the DPS of a Destroyer/Typhoon combo. GRENADES.. AREA OF EFFECT DAMAGE...
This also. Demolishers specced to combo grenades off each other are incredibly powerful. Plus they don't have to worry about cooldowns so they can use hard hitting weapons also. Like I said to the OP earlier, if you skillfully use all the options available to you, you can duplicate this level of damage. If someone is melting the Atlas down, YOU go after the minions with AoE grenade combos. You don't come here after a few days from DLC release and start requesting balancing of classes you obviously do not fully understand yet.

And there's no weight concern like the active abilities like AR/MM.
And the accuracy/magazine bonus are tailored to boost automatic or rapid fire weapons like Typhoon/Piranha.
How can Destroyer be not OP with the 2 weapons?

Uh, no, no it doesn't. If you spec for it, you can obtain exactly 30% bonus damage from Devastator mode. Even if you count RoF increases or accuracy increases as a damage increase, It is not going to add up to 82%. I would really like to know how you came up with those numbers, especially since you don't even have the class unlocked.
There really should be a rule that you cannot post comments about stuff you don't even have available to you yet.

As Cerebeus Adept I can wipe out large groups easily with smash and go toe to toe with bosses.
With destroyers you can't dodge so when going against Banshees your at a big disadvantage.
And I just played a 17 minute Gold Run where there was a Geth Infilitrator that was specced for melee and all he did was just go around and melt everything around him. As a destroyer I had trouble keeping up with him and cleaning up as well to ensure he would not get flanked.

Oh my dear Christ, when I wrote "compete", I meant "how in the hell am I supposed to kill anything - I want to kill SOMETHING", not the f*cking scoreboard.
Plus pressing M1 at a thing with a level X gun and having it die is, apparently, skilled. This game does not require much skill. CoD doesn't require any skill for that matter.
I actually begin to feel right now back when I was in that match - "why do I even bother?". Why do I even bother to discuss this with some of you?
Yeah, good look trying to do something like set up a biotic combo. By the time you cast something, have it dodged, recast the primer power and cast something to detonate it everything is dead. Of course there are folks who hate on you for pointing out this gap in power.

I wish I was smoking what you were, since pre-Typhoon/Destroyer Soldier I've yet to see a weapon class outdo biotics. Game full of biotic explosions flies by in minutes even when you're getting swarmed by a horde, but a couple of Infiltrators with Black Widows? LOLZ.
You know how long Soldiers have waited for a class that can ignore cooldowns and doesn't get crippled by Geth (Krogan)? Don't mess this up for me with your inaccurate whining.

If you truly believe this, you have not played with a good power based character that knew what they were doing.

Damage increased from speed and pure number are to be multiplied, not added.
So it is 1.3 x 1.4 = 1.82.
Don't need the character to do simple math.
