I hope this does not get deleted or I get flamed, but I have always been a fan of movies and games that have dragons in them. Since DA:O  is a game which does involve dragons, I was wondering what your fav movie dragon was as far as looking the "coolest"?

I would have to say it would be a tossup between the dragon from "Dragonheart"...the movie in which Sean Connery did the voice for the dragon and the dragon from "Dragonslayer"

Once again, I hope I do not get flamed for this topic,  since this is a dragon related theme in the game. Sorry if it was not appropriate.

I think 'Dragonslayer' is my favourite, as far as 'typical' dragons go.

Was the one for 'Neverending Story' considered a 'dragon'?

I always thought that it was a flying dog in "neverending story"...did not resemble a dragon to me at all...good observation!

Reign of fire for me. Not the best CGI, but I like the desgin anyways. Dragonheart has a good dragondesign, but they look too puny and nice. I like the malovelent powerfull lizard look.

In my opinion the dragon from "Dragonslayer" was way ahead of its time as far as looks when it was released. I think it still stands up well with anything that has been put out recently.

Reign of Fire was an atrocious piece of cinema, but the dragons in it looked kinda cool. Pretty much any movie with dragons in it is destined for the trash heap of film though.

Dragonslayer, one of the last stop-action movies and a darn impressive dragon in the air. Made a huge impression on me as a kid.



Next is the male dragon in Reign of Fire.



In games: Adalon, because she's silver and has a cool voice.

My vote is for Vermithrax Pejorative from Dragonslayer. That dragon had a lot of personality.

I concur with those voting for Falkor, the luck dragon from Neverending Story. The Disney classic, Sleeping Beauty, has a terrifying dragon that would definitely take my slot for scariest.

I can't remember, despite having watched a bunch of fantasy movies in the past. They probably weren't impressive enough to be memorable. I might just nominate the female Dragon from Shrek though, just for a laugh.

I agree. Saphira of the Eragon movies wins. The female dragon of the Shrek movies is 2nd place!  3rd place goes to the evil dragon of the 2nd D&D movie.

(I haven't ever seen DragonSlayer.)

Oh yeah, I forgot bout him. He gets 4th place!  (He looked AWESOME, but then again, he got his bum kicked by a teenager on a flying broom. That did NOT make him look good as a dragon. )
