The scripts mentioned in the HUD book - they begin with X2_L - spawnuseambient and whatnot - sound awesome, but they are not on my list of scripts when I try to put them in. I have underdark and the update installed. Thanx to anyone who can help me solve this mystery.

HUD book? I have never heard of it.
Could you provide a link.
A quick guess, would be that it is a NWN2 script.

I'm talking about the manual that came with my copy of Hordes. Are you familiar with the X2_L scipts? Like Spawn_Use_Ambient? It causes the creature to dispaly ambient animations and randomwalk after spawning. I have randomwalk in a lot of my creatures already.

Those are variables that you set on the creatures, not scripts. Go here for some good info:

http://nwvault.ign.c....Detail&id=1041

They also have published two manuals on the toolset and module construction. Links will be in the listings page:

http://nwvault.ign.c...Listing&id=5154

And the correct abbreviation for Hordes of the Underdark is HotU

And just so you know what everyone else uses for other stuff:

NWN Original Campaigns = OC
Shadows of Undrentide = SoU
Wyvern Crown of Cormyr = WCoC
Pirates of the Sword Coast = PotSC
Infinite Dungeons = ID
Kingmaker = KM
Witches Wake = WW
Project Q = Q (or PQ)
Community Expansion Pack = CEP

Cool, thanks. I really wanted to use the ambient animations. And also the spawinng in stealth mode.

I got it to work. The variables add another layer of realism and options. The first pdf is a great reference. The HotU book barely mentions them.
