I would have nothing against having another stalker on the team. Cullen would be awesome to have and mess with, unless he goes crazy and wants to kill all magi.

He already wants to kill all mages, as evident in your conversation with him at the top of the tower, as well as his insistane to the head Templar that the surviving mages can't be trusted and should be slaughtered "just in case".

Yes, if he would not go crazy there he would be a fun addition. Before that, he seems as keen on killing magi as Alastair. Ergo, Malificar-die. as shown with Jowan.

I want a stalker in game. I've always thought it strange to not have one.

Agreed. Where is my creepy butt-ugly elf fanboi stalker that follows me around after I win the Provings?

*smacks with rolled up newspaper* Bad Reuben, don't give them any ideas.

The ideas are here. They are just taking time to bust out of skulls in shrieking horror.

Hmm, this post might work better if you direct to Mr. Mike Laidlaw.

The swooper girls are an Alistair club, welll.. we USED to be, now we are a ... eclectic club with Alistair nuances =D. That's why Gaider love is needed.

And regarding FF...well we've done some wonderful and terrible things to Cullen in many different stories.

We just want more =D More Cullen...
and oo the nursing him back to health idea <3

We already have Morrigan for male PC's I think if you tell her to get lost after Flemeth she still appears in your bedroom seeking your seed at the end of the game.

Well don't speak for everyone. Some "swoopers" don't get excited about every NPC with an infatuation with your PC. Cullen comes across to me as creepy and maniacal.

Really? He just struck me as horribly shy. And later, rather crazy due to torture.

I, personally, miss the old pic of Alistair at the top, the new cartoon one doesn't give the same fluttery feeling in my tummy... but I'm just a lurker so it doesn't really matter.

Well, he is.

But didn't you know that stalking is how you show you care?

I liked having Zevran in my party while Cullen went on about his unhealthy desires .. "Someone was quite the little heartbreaker while an apprentice, no?" LOL

We girls of the Swooping is Bad Community would hereby like to request more Cullen!
We feel we've exhausted our current *squees* at his expense in game and would therefore like to put in a formal request for DLC of any of the following:
Cullen sneaking in our tent and smelling our hair.
Cullen stalking us throughout the campaign.
Cullen as a romanceable character (we're confident in your skills to let you figure out how, but some suggestions might be Lyrium and box moving).

Please see more comments below for our other suggestions.

And we thank you ahead of time!

signed - The Swoopers

What is the obsession with Cullen?  If you play a mage, he acts like a homophobe with a crush on a boy--you're icky!  He can't believe he has these feelings!  He must self-flagellate!  How is that kind of attitude remotely appealing??

If this is a sideswipe at the other Cullen so prevalent in entertainment right now (sparklepire! :wizard:) I'd say these actions are completely in character--and would request an option to behead Cullen and burn his body, since that's the only way to be sure when you're dealing with a Cullen.

*shudders*

That whole Edward Cullen thing is creepy beyond belief.

How about an ending where I'm a girl, I'm not evil, and Cullen doesn't go crazy and kill apprentices?

If that were the case I could go back and nurse him back to health and stuff. That poor boy has suffered.

Why is it that I'm the death of the two hottest guys in the story if I'm a girl mage? Why? That was unfortunately my first playthrough. Oh look! Alistair broke up with me and STILL offed himself...and look, Cullen's crazy.

Yup, there's that warm, happy feeling of a job well done...

Because a mage and templar romance is doomed from the start?  Shades of Romeo and Juliet?

I'm ambilvalent about Cullen, on the one hand... breaking those vows is a challenge.  :)  (Alistair had none to break.)  Another, he's not just stalking your mage, he's bragging about her to all who would listen, he thinks you're awesome; he wanted to be the one to euthanize you if you failed your harrowing, somehow believing he could be more merciful than his brothers in arms.  (Frankly, the fact that they could use magic, too, to a certain extent, some what made me think of them as sul'dam (WoT)).  I think the 'watching the mages bathe' comments were aimed in his direction, too.  That part I find mildly creepy.  (I do want to know, if you save the Tower for later in your relationship(s), if Al or Zevran or even Lel pipe up when Cullen's ranting about you in his bubble.  I usually need Wynne too badly to wait, though.)  He's nuts and the Templars REALLY screw up their members. Alistair's not the only one who had a family delusion, after all.  But, Cullen held out.  He didn't break and give them his obsession with you to play with or to warn them (if it would have).  Which kinda earns my admiration, at least.

So, despite the creep factor, I like Cullen.

Also, the way I played my mage, and I found it supported from some of the comments you overhear from your fellow mages, you are not a popular person in the tower.  Either because you're a prodigy, or because you're an elf, or both.  Which leaves you either clinging to the pals you have (Jowan and the obsessive Cullen) or being a right a__.

Probably because Cullen is otherwise unobtainable? If Cullen was a romance option / one night stand option like Cammen he probably wouldn't have nearly the love he does. However, his fruit is forbidden and therefore more "sweet".
