Oh, right, duh. The argument with Gregoir was afterward. So, three.

Isn't it still four?

So I sided with the Templars. THEN he says they're forcibly making him "heal" and such and he won't be in the fighting anyway.
Cullen is rather terminally screwed. I don't think there's a way to get him what he wants. Well, in a sane manner. Like growing up and being a hero. He pretty much gets obscurity or insanity. Poor li'l dude.
I think it's four conversations depending on what you do. After the harrowing is possible, up in the bubble, and then down with Gregoir at the end, and then you can click on him and get a post-battle sigh sorta "why are you here still?" sorta interaction.

In my cheesy-smutty fic Cullen did his "went whacko" bit, but I fixed him...in a very plausible way =).
I'd normally think anti-anxiety meds would be adviseable while undergoing regular counseling, but I don't know if they have such tools.

Look, you just can't pass up on a well-voiced, broad-shouldered gentleman just because he appears to be crazy.
I'd have missed out on a whole lot of fun in my life if I'd followed that sort of silly rule.

Nothing wrong with crazy. Why my Middle School voted me "Most Likely To Follow In The Footsteps of David Koresh."Recidiva wrote...

But he might be violent.

(I made it through the back cover of Twilight. And I _like_ urban fantasy. I recommend Magic Bites by Illona Andrews, wherein vampires are virus infected corpses with no minds.)

But it's not technically a conversation, so I don't count it.
And no, a little bit of crazy is fun. A lot of crazy is serial killer land.

So is this the Cullen's theme song?

You say that like it's a bad thing.
Crazy, violent, obsessed. These are not bad things if channelled properly.

Well, in normal instances, so's the PC. But she's a Grey Warden. Makes it all better, don't it?

His romance is really actually very touching if you don't just jump in the sack with him, play as a Dalish elf, its better that way.
I still kill him without waking him up in 6 out of 10 games, but it is really well done and touching.
Any elf, or does it have to be Dalish?
What is the difference? Cause, you know... I could see some mommy projection issues with him and a Dalish.

I'd much rather have a crazy, obsessed, violent person who GOT me than someone who screamed any time I said something or did something.
That's so annoying.

Okay, first off I don't think Cullen is all that crazy or obsessed.
He's distressed mostly. In there's a good guy with a lotta rage.
You channel violent properly by fighting darkspawn all day and then having "I hate darkspawn" sex. And if you're a mage, it can sorta blur in and out of "I hate darkspawn" sex to "I hate mages...but you're really really hot" sex.
In reality lots of very, very violent and angry people are that way because they're idealists. Betrayed idealists. Find their ideals and if you're lucky enough to actually agree with them, there you have a very loyal person because nobody else in the world gets them or saw past the violence or anger.
If you can shift Cullen's "I hate mages" to "I hate darkspawn" you've got a good shot at it.

Taleroth will now be called Ash, thanks to his sig.
Well, slaughtering Darkspawn is always fun. More than that, I'm afraid I don't kiss and tell.
