I think after nearly a month, everyone had time to play it multiple times and let it 'sink in' properly. Are you ultimately glad EC got developed & came out?

Voted yes. EC was just what I wanted, and I'm glad they put forth the time and effort, and then released it for FREE.

I got some semblance of the ending I wanted.

A lot of it is still bollocks though, especially Synthesis.

Yes, even though I'm not completely satisfied.

The ending is no longer quite the kiss of death that it originally was. For that, I'm glad.

Well if it gave me my reunion I would be happy with it. But besides that I was alright with it. At least now I can beat the game

not really as the ending is the same and now it's a bit worse since the fans are now falling out with each other because bioware wont tell us what in gods name is with that ending

Well I kinda wanted to see what happened to Shepard if I picked the Destroy ending. Especially since this is the end of his/her story. I'm ok with it but I was hoping for more.

Yep, I'm pretty happy with it. And I also appreciate it being available for free. :)

See my signature. They need to go back and learn how to write. They gave the Control and Synthesis people closure. The gave the Destroy people a boot in the rear. Refuse? Got what? And shooting the catalyst got the big middle finger. Very funny Mac.

Go back to writing school.

I'm glad it was free. That's the only positive thing I can say.

It gave me a little more closure, but still have no interest in playing it again, in fact I sold my Xbox 360, that's how sure I am I'll not want to play ME again.

Where's the "I'm glad they made it but it didn't do enough" option?

Your option perfectly qualifies under "Yes". In the end, you're glad they made it even if it didn't do enough

Not as simple as "yes or no".
More specific than "glad they made it but didn't do enough".
Qualitive feedback, not quantative.

^ yup.  Someone else has laready said elsewhere that the EC "was like Bioware stuck their hand into the giant pile of dog crap  that was the ending and pulled out a $20.  Could they have pulled out a diamond and made us all fall back in love with them? Sure, and I wish they had, but since they didn't, at least they made it so I didn''t walk away feeling like I'd wasted something like 500 hours of my life over the last 5 years."  Whoever said that (I'm too lazy to go forum crawling for the diret quote) was right on the money.

Yes, I'm glad they did it but I'm not even remotely satisfied with it.

Well it went for horrendous to bad, which is an improvement overall, and I appreciate the effort at least so I would say yes.
Though, the core issues are still there and it is still bad so I would say no.
Bottom line, I'm not still satisfied with it, so I guess no.

played through four times, now waiting for the other shoe to drop....any other shoe.

(too much too fast yet still not enough to say " Hey I played MassEffect 3!!" some thing is still missing from the game. )

Of course, it's a s***ton better than the OE. The Earth and Catalyst sequences still suck, but the epilogues make it a fair bit better.

It was a nice gesture, but nothing extraordinary. Yes, it allowed me to pick up and play ME again (not that I have recently, but I can do so in the future with no regrets if I desire), but Bioware's overall dismissive and condescending attitude towards having to create the EC really soured any appreciation I had left for the developer.

If you need an example of what I am talking about, shoot the catalyst in your next playthrough. It is funny at first, but once the initial laugh wears off, you will see it for what it really is - a giant middle-finger directed at the fans who dared to reject and criticize Bioware's vision.
