Recently unlocked the N7 Fury. While I certainly plan to go into Bronze and experiment for a while, I would appreciate tips from people who use the class frequently. Thanks. ^_^

dont use the fury too much, i went 6/6/6/5/3. love the teleporting.. fun to go through walls to escape combat or get around the map quickly. vanguard can do it too but ya. i went for radius on annhilation field and would run around and detonate everything near me with throw. then used dark channel from a distance on boss characters along with throw as the detonator.

1. Activate Annihilation Field
2. Heavy melee into a mob
3. Make things go boom with Throw

Have Annihilation Field on the whole time (only has a max duration of about 1 minute I think). Use AF or DC to set up detonations and throw to expolde them. practice using her teleport on all maps so you get used to it and be able to make a quick escape if need to. I also equip her with the acolyte to strip shields and barriers off the enemies first.

Get the movement speed bonus for annihilation field. Look for annihilation field to take effect on small units. Cast throw on them. Boom.

Dark channel+acolyte can tear apart most shielded gold mobs like geth.

Next tip works amazingly for bosses. Especially ravagers and brutes. Dark channel the boss, cast throw, charge boss while he is stunned, detonate annihilation field with throw, dodge out. You create two detonations as fast as you can cast throw.

I use a piranha and acolyte with ultralight on my fury with a 6/6/6/4/4. I have a 160% cooldown I think. Piranha will give you the edge you need in close range with excellent boss killing power.

Ditto on the piranha. Light weight shotgun that let's you go to town on anything your biotic explosions don't rip to shreds? Yes, please. Also let's you deal with guardians easily as long as you have shredder mod or ap ammo. I personally don't bother with a second weapon.

Enemies that are already under the effects of your field when you go down will keep taking damage while you bleed out. Very situational but super handy if your corpse is getting camped by something.

Initially, I had a 6/6/5/5/4 build, sacrificing throw. I re-specced it to a fragile 6/6/6/5/3. Only bring an arc pistol for 200% cool down. Still potent, even with an aggressive play style - speed evolution on AF helps a lot to get away as quick as possible. Hit and run tactics. Don't stay in a position too long, if you do, just stay behind cover to regenerate shields.

Agree with piranha. You can play aggressive against cerb and reaper once you get the hang of it. Use that movement speed bonus from AF to get in quick and panic and prime enemies, throw to detonate, and clean up with shotgun. Drain on AF can also be a life saver and I wouldn't go without it. I only put 3 levels into throw so I could max out fitness because throw often has problems off host even with no noticeable lag, and the extra fitness helps when you're fighting up close. I just use it as quick detonator when I get near a group. With geth you have to be more careful imo because of rocket troopers.

Also, I wouldn't waste your time using BE's with DC > throw (even with maxed out throw) on atlas/banshee/prime ... They'll laugh at you.

N7 Fury is a very mobile unit and the Drain evolution of AF as well as her combat roll(/teleportation) makes her an absolute beast in CQ. The key to playing her is knowing how to move and knowing the map to take advantage of being able to teleport through walls. You can get in, blow things up, and move on to the next group very quickly. She can deal with non-heavy/boss units very, very (very) quickly and easily. Run up to an group of enemies with AF up and they'll all get primed for a BE. AF primes BEs and reprimes. So if a unit with shields like Centurion or Marauder doesn't go down after the first explosion, being close to them with AF will set them up for another. Throw, throw, throw; explode, explode, explode. Watch the points rack up, and repeat.

Anything that isn't an Atlas, Prime, or Banshee the Fury can destroy quickly with good power usage and a solid weapon. Against Atlases, Primes, and Banshees, Dark Channel is excellent for making them a little bit more squishy for your squadmates. If you're feeling aggressive, you can flank the heavy unit and take advantage of your AF's priming to set off explosions and just teleport away when you start taking damage. The Fury's dash/roll can go through walls and gaps (and sometimes help you go from low to high ground) so making a quick getaway is extremely easy.

I don't personally like the Piranha just because it doesn't allow for 200% CD. Ergonomics (the gear) only gives you 15% more at level 5. I use Talon X on the Fury for 200% cool down. As with any other biotic, your powers should be your main damage output, with your weapon on the side to finish things off. With 200% cooldown the cooldown of throw is a little more than half a second...meaning you can spam it as much as you want. With AF priming stuff that's close and DC jumping around, you can make explosion after explosion after explosion.

Another small note, during the short down times between waves, you should have AF up to kill off swarmers from the previous wave to make things easier on your squad the next wave. All you have to do is step on them with AF.

Basically, throw up AF, be extremely aggressive, throw to BE, then teleport away if things get too hot.

Wait until you see the whites of their eyes, then cast throw. Prepare for awesomeness.

Weapon wise, I take Phalanx X with ULM and Disciple X. The Disciple is useful for its stagger properties.

The N7 Fury is one of my favourites to play. I use a 6/0/6/6/6 build. I don't take Dark Channel. Just use a shotgun, Annihilation Field and Throw. Best thing ever, also take movement speed for your Annihilation Field.

Wow this post is old.

Kobe pls. You're jacking way too many 3's. Take it to the basket and if they hack you, you're an 85% foul shooter.

Uhhh, so there's that.
