Does the DVD version of DAO: Ultimate Edition have install limits and/or DRM? I am thinking of buying the DVD version because I don't want to mess around with a 20-30 GB download with my internet connection but have an old computer and may be getting a new one soon. I read in a review on Amazon that the DVD version may have really strict install limits of only 3 installs or changes to your system for the game before you have to buy a new copy which wouldn't be good since I may not be able to run the game well on my current system. However I also read elsewhere that the latest patch (1.05 I believe) may have removed the install limit problem, can anyone verify if this is the case? If it is still an issue is it best to buy a digital download like Steam or something else (not sure what other digital download options there are) to avoid this problem or will those versions have the same issues with install limits?

Also, since the Ultimate Edition has been out for a while is there any chance that a DVD copy's registration codes for the game and DLC could be expired and not work to play the game? And I also heard that some DVD copy's manuals are missing the codes, if that happens is there a way to get codes from EA/Bioware? Thanks.

Yes, there is DRM on the UE (and all other versions of Dragon Age.) No, none of those rumors you cited are true. Yes, the 1.05 patch was released to address some DLC authorization issues. No, they weren't regarding any limit on the number of installs (since there're never were any to begin with.)
