An added note, when solo-ing Geth Hunters seem to be completely unaffected by this, or I just have the consistent bad luck to run right into groups of them who are taking a nice stroll.

Why? Is it because BioWare filled it with false statements to "ease" the communities minds? Already know it doesn't work as they state. The enemies spawn knowing where every player is and get pathed strait to them and start walking while firing.Filipe Dilly wrote...

Why? Because this is people talking about something they love with one of the people who MADE the thing itself. And not a bit of people shouting and listening at most an echo.
I know there are bugs (and they are boring to deal with? Yes).
But the worst thing for me is to have no answer about anything. (MUCH worse)
Especially for someone who is used to talk a lot with developers about the programs I use every day (I'm a teacher and artist working in digital animation using only open source software).
Again, many thanks to Holmes and Bioware responses.

Very good thread, clears up some misconceptions and affirms others. (Glares at the infiltrators.)
A very good tip in there as well for biotic users that I will have to remember, fire off a shot or two first at your target before using your biotics.

how do banshees prioritize targets? because every single game i'm in, no matter how high or low i am on the scoreboard, what i'm doing, how much i'm killing in comparison to others, how close i am to others, the banshees will always chase me past another player even if they have seen the other player first and grab me. every single time.

Caldari Ghost: Based on the dev posts here, it looks like you're probably coming up as the target they'll have the easiest time killing, either due to firing line or HP/shields or agility.
