Since yesterday I have been having an issue when trying to open Mass Effect 3. Whenever I try to play it from Origin, I get a message saying "Direct3d is not available because the computer is locked. Keep retrying?"
Clicking "Yes" of course, does not help.
Firstly, I am using windows 7 on my laptop, I have been playing ME3 without any problems of this kind since the launch back in march.
I have tried rebooting, updating both my graphic drivers and directx, and running as administrator to no avail.
Searching the web I can see people have had similar issues but I couldn't find any solutions online that have helped.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have noticed that the same problem is occurring when trying to run all other games on my computer, and EA phone support was of no help because it wasn't a direct problem with "their product" exclusively. I could really, really use some input here if anyone knows anything about this.
