You have to pick a particular class to take to Platinum on an unkown map agaiisnt an unknown enemy

None of your friends are online, they're all out at the Pink Nipple having slurpies. You're at home dilligently studying and decide to take a break. So you reluctantly PuG Platinum because you REALLY need those credits. Gold's out of the question as you can only play one match for the evening and you wouldn't have enough for a Premium.

Your PuG(pick up group) team is made up of 1 GI armed with the Krysae X(he's not a glitcher) specced accordingly, a Destroyer carrying the Piranha X and the Harrier II specced out of missle launcher
There is also an Asari Adept with stasis bubble rocking the traditional Carnifex X.

Now then you have two choices.

The Asari Justicar or the Fury.

Who do you play?

And why.

Fury. I can clear a room just by walking in and throwing,

Dear god, the Fury's obviously the best choice here. AA + NF = Death to everything.

Justicar.

I have alot of playtime logged for that particular character and I'm more familiar with it's limitations.  I've only played the Fury twice and suddenly jumping into Plat would be like flying into a raging inferno as blind as a bat.

Fury. You have a strategy for any distance.

DC+Throw far away.
AF+Throw close up.

'Splosions!

Let's not forget you have an early warning system as well. Often times more than not my AF will 'jump' to targets close to me or behind me and I essentially gain a 'Spidey Sense' to enemies standing around me or close enough to hit me.

The AJA, because:
* I don't have the Fury.
* I know the AJA's strengths and weaknesses better.
* AoE Reave > Throw is a mind-blowingly fast way to generate combos against groups, any distance.
* (Guessing, here, based on descriptions of Platinum and my own playstyle) Reave + Bubble DR means a greater margin for error.

Justicar.

Same as Astartes Marine. Experience. And I don't like the idea of going into an U/U/P with the Fury as opposed to the Justicar.

This set up is missing a demolisher.

Fury. Make everything explode. It's the only class I've played so far on platinum.

Also, getting into melee range with phantoms and coming out on top is the best feeling ever.

Neither. I come to my senses before I start the game, power off my Xbox and watch some tv because no build by its lonesome can guarantee the competency level of a random.

I'd go with the Justicar because of Area Reave plus the OG AA's throw can detonate and debuff more things. The Justicar is also more tanky. I can see myself changing my mind in the next few weeks, however.

Fury. I've made up to 5 detonations within 8 seconds with a fellow AA, and most of the detonations were by me, with a traveling DC.

I like both.
I probably go with the AJ, the harrier X might help.

Fury so far is kind to me in gold, but I do not do platinum yet...

I'm 50/50 on AJ and fury in golds runs...

Not saying the AJA is a bad choice but the Fury is really a lot tougher than a first glance might reveal. For one thing it's the only character I've seen that will get dropped by a banshee IF the AF field is on and the banshee barriers are down. I was picked up several times in one game and while I'm sure the teammates helping added to her dropping me I've also seen it happen when alone somewhere else on a map.

Hmmm... there is a more important question here. What color scheme are the GI and the Destroyer, and what color schemes are the Justicar and the Fury? When I'm with randoms who chose questionable color combinations which my stylishly flavored characters clash with, I can't bear to stand in the same hack zone.

I suppose if we clashed, I would go AJ with defensive bubble, so I could sit in my beautiful bubble in the corner alone and scoff at the color blind idiots.

If we were coordinated, I'd go with Fury as she is a more independent and aggressive biotic with the ability to regen her shields through AF.

Fury. Dark Channel hops from enemy to enemy allowing a chain of BEs. Reave does not do this.

I go and find whoever was dumb enough to hold a gun to my Smashguards head and beat the crap out of him. Nobody messes with my Smash bro.

Justicar. Just throw down warp sphere, and area reave everything while the throw sets off everything.

If you had asked me if it was between a Drell or Fury then it would've been a hard choice. This? Fury all the way.

But...Reave stacks, gives you durability and does more than twice DC's damage when it's stacked and it primes multiple targets at once for splosions. Though the Fury can do BE's more efficiently up close.

Fury.

Annihilation Field - constant pestilence of staggering and damaging enemies
Dark Channel - Fire and Forget ability. Kills an enemy, moves on to the next.
Throw - Immediate detonation DC and any enemy under AN's effects.

All three going at once - BIOTIC DEVASTATION.

She's a mixture between the AA and the AJA. Dark Channel works like a mix between warp and reave.  Annihiliation Field is like a smaller, but moving offensive biotic sphere.  She also has throw.  All in all she is already one of the best classes in the game and the only biotic I would use if I were on an all tech squad.
