I just bought Mass Effect 2 through Steam. When I went to download some of the free DLC (Zaeed, Arc Projector, Normandy Crash SIte, etc.), I got a message that said, "Mass Effect 2 does not appear to be installed. Please install the game and try again."

I don't know what's wrong...

I've heard going into registry or something works, but that's it can be really dangerous...

Did you install Mass Effect on a different drive than C:\\Program Files\\Bioware\\ or install then move the installation?

Well, for whatever reason, the Bioware folder was in Documents...I moved it to Program Files (86x), but it's still not working...

Run the game first then install the DLCs. It should work after that.
