What are you talking about? The only people asking for nerfs are fools and there isnt enough of them around for bioware to care at the moment.

The vanguard glitch I don't think will ever be fixed....the problem is fundamentally a case of the players being the non-host and latency issues...

The glitch doesn't occur when you host (I'm honestly trying to think about another MP game where a vanguard style glitch can occur but all of them are server based....)

Separate teams and completely different amounts of work and goals for the balance team and patch team.
